In the newest patch notes for v1.06, sumo is making sackboy wet when he thouches the water and emit little water drops, But its only on PS4! -_- Sumo angered me so much that I had to make a petittion to get it in their thick skulls that Ps3 users deserve better! So sign this petittion and hopefully sumo will bring it to PS3 version!

Of all the things to get fired up about about, you go for an effect that's probably going to be half-baked anyway? (If they're going to add a "wet" effect, they should add it to a character tweaker and leave it there. Not all of us use the actual water effect to create the look of water.)

I'm going to say no, bro. Wrong way to approach it, and not worth a petition that they'd just ignore anyway.

As much as they would like to bring it to the ps3 it is just not practical, the ps3 only has around 256mb of ram compared to the 8GB DDR5 ram thats in the ps4 so in simple terms the ps3 will not be able to take the load on its processers to run such detailed effects. The system already struggles with the water tool that you use on lbp 2. So this is why they didnt include it. If you want it that bad your best option will be to get a PS4. In ll honesty the game Shouldnt have been released for the ps3 to to how outdated the console is when compared to a high end graphics heavy game like lbp3

But like I said on the other forum, you are stupid when it comes to game development, and Sumo is limiting it to the PS4 version for a reason. If it was on PS3, the game would be laggy, considering that the PS4 version doesn't do it if there are more then 2 people, it's safe to say that a 10 year old system will not do the same job.

You even posted about having a ram extension, which would be useless because the system is 10 years old and the PS4 is already out. This also isn't 1994.

The OP is irrelevant at this point. The discussion has changed to something of interest to us, namely one of the new features in the latest update and whether or not it would be feasible on PS3, and we've decided to keep it going. When it runs its course (soon I expect) it'll stop, and you're not winning any points by insulting others on the board calling them dumb. We're talking about other things. You're the one that keeps digging up the troll at the start, which actually makes you kind of a troll. At this point I'd be more inclined to block you than the OP.

Sure, the discussion may be interesting, and i fully agree on that as i've personally experienced graphical differences set up by Sumo in the PS3 and PS4 version of the game. But right now, by still replying to this bait topic, everyone's giving OP what he wants. Discussion on this subject is good, but i'd much rather see it in a new topic otherwise, rather than taking Jekira's bait even though doing it unconciously. Because right now, everyone that doesn't get that he'se a troll by now is being trolled if they post here or support his poorly written Change petition. And that's definitely not what you'd want on a forum. In fact, it's the opposite.

and lbp3 on ps3 is fine (and less likely to corrupt your profile). it isn't as powerful of a system obviously but I don't believe that it held back the ps4 version. there are just some things (like the wet effect) that the ps3 would have more trouble handling. it's not even a big deal though. it's just a little visual effect that they added. it effects absolutely nothing else. I've seen a video of it and it looks pretty cool though. but big woop if it's not on the ps3 version.

And to my huge surprise it was Hanfi1311 o.o The same person who defined himself as a designer of this forum.
