So today I went, and thought for a second that PS3 users, and PS4 users can play together on LBP3, what confuses me a lot is just how most of the game is set up, could someone please help me out with the following questions if you own LBP 3 on Playstation 3, or 4?

1. Can PS3, and PS4 users play with each other on LBP 3, or will they be separated?
2. Are you able to play levels made by PS4 users & PS3, varying on what console you have?
3. Are there any more features apart from the PS4 having higher in game resolution, and the lag being reduced in online games, and faster loading?
4. Are you able to make legitimate pugs on LBP3?

1. PS3 and PS4 users can NOT play together.
2. Yes, all levels published on LBP1, LBP2, and LBP3 can all be played on LBP3 on both consoles.
3. Touch Create, Touch Paint, Getting wet if you have up to 2 players, and Trailers, but that is about it, and you can do Paint on the PS3 without the Move Pack with the Duelshock controller.
4. Yes! OddSock comes with a very fine Pug costume.

ps3 and ps4 players cannot play together, you can play ps4 levels on ps3 but could be laggy, there are different things for the ps4 such as the interactive live stream sensor, water effects which make you look wet whn leaving water, the ability to tweak lights to have a shimmer effect, being able to watch game trailers and puggggggsss are awsome i have both versions of the game so if your ever looking to create send me a message

I hate to say it but could a admin, or anything above that rank please tell me if this is true, or not. My dad needs proof to actually see theres no cross play between users on the PS3 & PS4 online on the internet (Is that makes any sense.)

a way to prove it would be to email sumo or send steven a message on twitter as they will be able to get back to you and it will be from an official source but no matter what game you buy there is no cross play between different consoles even if they are made by the same company this is due to different operting systems, and what hardware the systems are using why does your dad need proof btw ?

Well my sisters actually play this game a lot (I have two), and my Dad doesn't want to sell the PS3's, and get PS4's for us due to wiring, and fighting with them (This is mainly due to the freedom of LBP on Local play, for example splitting up, going to your Pod etc.) My Dad is actually planning on helping me get this game, although he doesn't want to purchase three PS4'S for everyone, because my sisters tend to get a little jelly compared to my responsibility (Since I'm the oldest one in the house (As a brother/sibling), and becoming 14 tomorrow), the game we don't have a problem with, and we can purchase with although I want to be able to play with my old friends who currently have the PS4 version of it, that's all. Since you really can't communicate with PS3 users, with PS4 users on there. (Apart from playing there levels made)

By cross play I just meant how you could play with PS3 users, and PS4 users, so its very hard to talk about since the PS4 & PS3 are starting to have so many features .________. its like one of those puzzle games building the pieces together . (I'm also using a PS3 but I am planning to get PS4 with my Dad, if its not to pricy on, our budget.)
