It was confirmed that your LBP2 profiles will be fully compatible with LBP3. However, transferring your Created objects over to PS4 will be a bit of a chore. You will have to publish a level on your planet contain everything you want to carry over and have them in prize bubbles ( I'm assuming you will be able to have your levels locked and still play them from your profile ). i'm suddenly thinking of creators that have been collecting junk that they made since LBP1.. They're going to be busy for a while. I'd probably be able to sort out all my junk and get it all ready in about an hour

Will this work if you plan on creating a brand new profile for PS4?

I can think of some scenarios but.. I wasn't around to see how LBP1 levels carried over. I don't know if it's automatic or not. So if levels carry over automatically from LBP2 then yes. You could publish an accessible level ( maybe locked but with a hidden key in another level ) and go collect the prizes. If not then you'll need to get online on the profile you want to get objects from ( I don't see why that's a problem ).
But either way, the objects will fill up your community objects bag until you recapture them. And if it's for music then you may not be able to edit the music either way.

i'm honestly not too sure about how that would work.

hey, i do that!!! i made a lvl called stuff for lbp3 ps4 containing my costumes, objects, and other stuff, i locked it so nobody could play it, just me
