Recently I experimented with creating music under a tight deadline, and I thought it would be fun to livestream myself creating it, which I did so. The purpose of the challenge wasn't to "show off"; rather I was interested in what creative choices I would make when forced to produce music under pressure, and I invited people to watch me doing it on the livestream to make sure I wasn't cheating.

The recorded version is on my YouTube channel, posted below. I humble ask you for your opinions. The music itself has a rudimentary beginning, middle and end, but rather than feedback on the music itself, I would really like to know:

What do you think about being creative on a deadline? Good or bad?
Did you notice anything that I did to save time that you would've done differently?
I picked the "30-minute" limit on a whim. 15 minutes seemed too short, an hour seemed too long. What do you think?
What are the possibilities for livestreaming music creation? Could it be used for friendly competitions or other experiments?

Wooo thats awesome! Just curious how many viewers did you manage to get on your stream? I would have watched but I didn't see a link anywhere on twitter or anything

I was impressed! It was a cool experiment but I think that taking your time to put things together is a good thing. I do see a possibility for contests doing the live streaming thing. But this was a cool little experiment. You did a whole lot in 30 minutes. It was a pretty good tune as well. I've spent 30 minutes on ten seconds of melody before... then deleted it because I didn't really like it... Actually I do stuff like that a lot
