LittleBigForum Music is on SoundCloud!

Hey there! I'm not usually around the Music Section, but today I bring good news! LittleBigForum Music is part of the SoundCloud community.
We already began following a bunch of you and began to upload some of the beautiful sounds featured in our Music Showcase, and we'll be snooping around you guy's and gal's profiles and helping you out with a like or a repost!

LittleBigPlaye and SakuraLBPDragon our Videocurators are the ones in charge of media recording. I will handle the account since I'm an active guy on the web and I love listening to you peeps' music since I follow you all on my personal account.

LittleBigForum keeps growing, finding new ways to promote the LittleBigPlanet Music community and we'd like you to follow this new project of ours and help it expand!

You can click this giant button down here to see what we're up to!

Not necessarily Fl...
literally two people from LBP almost quit music because Fl was so confusing and useless to them. But what people from this community have to understand is that no program is better than the other necessarily, they all just cater to different workflows.

My suggestion to people getting into music: try the following demos of software:
Ableton Live
Cubase
Fl Studio
Logic

Those are the ones I've tried and really ONE of those will make just about anyone happy. Programs to AVOID: Bitwig Studio and Reason.

You know I said "or something" right? , FL actually isn't extremely confusing as people make it out to be, if you have a concept of logic, and a little knowledge you should be good. I have Fl Studio 11 on my MAC PC, it's actually quite easy.

I recommend just twinkling around with YouTube if you have problems though, but otherwise I'd just skim through the instructions that you get when actually getting FL legally.

Because pirating is illegal... O.o

"And so is magical unicorns, trolls, elves, sprites, witches, zombies, fairies, pixies, dragons, gremlins, goblins, goo bugs, muck monsters, ogres, sirens, wizards, and everyone's favorite... (Least favorite) vampires, and werewolves."

"Uh, ZomB King..."

"What?"

"You know all the people reading this love werewolfs and vampires right?"

O.o

This whole post is a complete lie, there are no instructions, FL is actually quite confusing, and no one likes vampires and werewolves.
"Good Day!"

P.S. It makes me happy to know LBF didn't kill the whole music showcasing idea. Tbh I thought you guys had made a sandwich and let it mold before throwing it away.

for learning how to use fl studio in youtube there are the fl studio producers seamless (youtube channel is SeamlessR) and varien (youtube channel is Varien) i haven't watched any of the next guy's vids but he has fl studio beginner to advanced vids he is a no name producer don't know if he has released any music (youtube channel is ste1438) and fl studio manuals by imageline (which are the creators of flstudio) here are the links for these channels and the online reference manual for flstudio http://www.image-line.com/support/FLHelp/ <--reference manual, https://www.youtube.com/user/SeamlessR <--seamles's youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/varienofficial <--varien's youtube channel and https://www.youtube.com/user/ste1438 ste1438's channel and make sure to try out demos for different daws and some people like reason but it's a bit different and doesn't support vst's DAWs that i would recommend to check out are: ableton live, steinberg cubase, flstudio, reaper (the demo is an unlimited free demo and you can choose to if you make less than 1000$ a year or something like that get a uncommercial license) logic pro and presonus studio one and don't forget in case you don't know different DAWs don't sound different they just have a different workflow and some include their own plugins (btw this is for anyone wanting to learn flstudio or who want a DAW or a new DAW)

I wish I can make music. I am terrible at making music so if you want someone that is terrible with music, well here you go! (My cousin taught me a little piano lesson. I am just a little bit good, not AMAZING! I will improve over time hopefully)

I don't think you should necessarily avoid reason. I tried it out, and in comparison to some others I tried out, I rather enjoyed it (although the whole hardware anatomy of it can be confusing) so because of that I would highly recommend it to anyone who has experience or an interest in hardware gear.
Bitwig though...isn't it for the most part an Ableton knock off? My advice would be:
For people who want something that's more beginner friendly and "Easier", try FL.
For people who care more about workflow and like extreme efficiency in a DAW, try Ableton.
For people who care more about composing than engineering, something like Cubase.
And for people who have experience with hardware, reason.

Fl Studio is more a program for synth-based music. Fl Studio can be a pain in the arse a lot of times.
If you have a Mac, I can't help you since I don't have Macs. (Macs are not shit, I just don't like the OS.)
If you Windows/Linux, use these:
- Cubase (Great overall, not really for high end PCs)
- Ableton Live (In my eyes THE best DAW for everything)
- Cockos Reaper (Great for users with a lot of already bought plug-ins and generators)
