Newcomers and Move Pack music

Something that I've been thinking about, is that many new people to the LBP series wont see a reason to have the Move Pack. Basically, a whole lot of newcomers will play some music levels, not be able to use any collected music and then avoid music levels in the future.

I think that if anyone at Sumo had taken time to consider the musicians on LBP, They would have just given everyone access to the move instruments on LBP3 ( never mind them skimping on new instruments ).

I think the musicians here ( and anyone else who supports the people that supply custom music for them ) should express their disappointment and concern about this to Sumo Digital. Musicians are loosing complete interest in making music on LBP, including some of the most popular ones.

Please Sumo.. Don't kill the music.

I don't personally make music, but I think they should put out a FREE dlc with around 10 or more new instruments in the future.

Key word: FREE

yes. even in lbp2, I avoided using move pack instruments pretty well. I probably have about 5 songs that even use move pack. I did it because I knew that many people didn't have it. If they have new music instruments it really needs to be free.. or at the very least, come included in a pack that everyone wants and creators feel they need. like DC pack.

But I believe Sumo can and should do better. They are a business. they're interested in making money.. But they'll make less money if they drive people away from this game.. and yes, they already have drove musicians away. even people like BreezyThePro say that they aren't going to really compose on LBP3.

Sumo, use some common sense here.

I don't know about you dude, but I use Move DLC in every single of my song hahaha.
But it's obvious that Sumo digital ignored the music community. In my opinion, they could've expended the musical thermo I mean, PS4 is obviously stronger than PS3, so they could've done it. I won't start ranting about improving bad instruments or the lack of new ones. Yeah, say what you will, they basically added nothing.
Like you said, I doubt I'm going to get LBP3 because of that. and also because everyone is going to be separated. Some of my friends are gonna be on PS4, while some will be on PS3. That was a nice way to divide the community if you ask me....

In Sumo's defense they have said that they are going to re-release the move pack on ps4, but we'll have to collect all the instruments again..

I do believe that they should release new instruments on the reg though.
I'd be willing to pay good money for instruments packs.

I rather have some new free instruments, a DLC has more instruments than a full priced game. Logic? Or just annoying marketing?
