Tbh, this seems like another promoting account, like LBPmontsercat or UKFAudio-- Don't get me wrong, I love the idea and I'd like to help undiscovered producers, such as myself and so many others that are looking for their one big break, get their name out there. But feels like this will fade into obscenity again like LBPmonstercat or UKFAudio. Hopefully it won't.
Sincerely.

No. Is LBPmonstercat a community? Did UKFAudio hold any contests? No, this is something much bigger than just a "promoting account". Much bigger.

The difference between this and something like LBPmonstercat is that this is very organized. It's part of an established online forum as well. I understand what you mean though zekrom. It's easy to get skeptical. I was a bit skeptical too at first but i'm seeing it gain some traction. I'm thinking that the tunesday pick thing is pretty much done. That's why I think this can work. It's something for the music community to look forward to again.

Yeah the tunesday thing is done and UKFAudio didn't just showcase EDM, they did showcase a few non-EDM tracks, UKFAudio/LBPmonstercat did have a contest, LBPmonstercat tried to be a community and promoting accounts doesn't mean they only shawcase EDM, it just means your showcasing lesser and well known musicians.
I still like the idea, but its pretty much a promoting account.

Actually Zekrom, thanks for your feedback but i must clarify that this is promoting every creator. Its a catalogue for creators looking for musicians and their music directly. We are promoting music. No matter the genre, creator, heart count anything. This is so we as a music community as a whole can be in one place, for friends, projects, competitions, promotion, collaboration and anything else that seems like a good thing for LBP. It's not a personal service to friends or anything of the sort. Hope you can relax now

I'm sorry Zekrom, but I'm gonna have to contradict you here As someone who has been active in the music community for awhile, I can affirme to you that most of what you said isn't true. First of all, when I say EDM, I speak of electro, DnB, dubstep, all in all, not just EDM. The original LBPmonstercat ran by Vidyne did indeed only showcase electro music. As this further proves my case. > https://lbp.me/u/LBPMonsterCat/levels
UKFAudio was ran by iChaosClay and further more promoted only EDM, as his description even said : "I promote good unknown EDM creators."
Now, Supersonicpsiii has created a new account called LBP-Monstercat, his goal is to also promote EDM but claimed that he would create a non-EDM section, that is probably what you are thinking of and finally, LBPmonstercat and UKF never hosted a contest of any sort. LBPMonstercat did indeed consider doing one, but it never happened. The contest was hosted by a player named LBPmusicproducer. Nowadays, there is a showcase-account named LBP-Soundwave, > https://lbp.me/u/LBP-Soundwave
Although he is rather inactive, he does indeed showcase any creators, of all sort, no matter the heart or genre.
Sorry for the long message ahaha But I just need to clarify this, since I think this here is actually a better idea, and I think it may even surpass tunesday, as tunesday didn't notice a lot of great creators like MMAbulldog and Meansr. I think LBFmusic is wonderful idea and I will give my full support as I enjoy discovering hidden creators as well as help my friends get out there

Musicurators, I have posted a thread about LBFMusic over at LittleBigNetwork, to help spread the word. I've used some quoted text and some slightly edited text, to fit the context.

Kevin left way back when and didn't tell anyone what his artist name was but I'd love to catch up with him and production one of these days if I can get a handle on his SoundCloud.

It would be cool if Music Sequencers had support for multiple audio channels. Mono music just isn't the same. Not everyone would utilize it if it existed, obviously, but I know some people that would.

Do you know what I've always wanted? A music sequencer that you could import audio files located on your PS3 or removable drives onto. If you found a soundtrack online that you wanted to use in your level, it would be possible to directly import it. Same goes for sound effects and other stuff. You can even create dialogue which you can edit on your computer!, and PC microphones tend to sound better than the ones available for the PS4/PS3. I doubt that it would be added even if it was suggested, though. People would import DLC soundtracks directly to them from audio files and there could be problems with copyright infringement.
