Hi friends,

while I'm still trying to teach an owl how to fly, I've started to work on my first vita music gallery! There will be 8 songs plus one additional song! But before you can listen to the songs you have to collect some "glyphs" which you can get by playing a very simple minigame: a bar moving left and right and a simple start/ stop button. You get the glyph which is activated when the bar stops! For each song you need 3 glyphs to activate the play - button! Here the first pics:

The bonus song will be available when all songs have been played!
Estimated 90% progress!

Many greetings, Jürgen^^

Honestly, i wouldn't bother with LBPV anymore. I'm quite sure that nearly no one is playing it at all, except for a few noobs and H4H'ers and such. And maybe like 5 people on the forums and such. I'd just go make stuff like this on LBP3.

Hi Woutery, thanks for your advice, you're probably right! I've started exploring lbp vita not long ago, I've always been creating for lbp2! But I see some advantages in creating vita levels nevertheless! When I have time to create, my family often is occupying the TV, no problem with the vita! LBPV is rather limited with sticker and deco and its 3 layers, but this is forcing me to focus on the essentials! In LBP3 my "Morning Hymn" project would have become a summer meadow with flowers and butterflies, on vita I've been forced to do a wintery scenery! And this has again an influence on the projects I'm doing for LBP3. In LBPV I'm experimenting a lot with logic solutions which I then can transfer to LBP3 projects and vice versa! My"Pairs-unleashed" project is an example for this process, I will publish it on both systems! And my compositions!... ok, on vita they are not sounding rather good, but its a challenge to nevertheless let them sound as good as possible!
I think that I tend to be a little perfectionist and this probably is the reason why I haven't published any level for more than two years now! Creating for vita with its limitations makes it easier to me to be content with my creations, because its easier to say: more has been hardly possible!
And I think its not wrong to feed the five people on the forums with new stuff!
I'm simultaneously working on my lbp3 projects, but I'm sure that my next published level will be for vita, because my creating process for vita is much more faster!
Maybe I won't get fame and glory on lbpv, but thats no problem, then I'm spared to do lots of autographs and TV appearences in talk shows!
Many greetings, Jürgen^^

If my equipment allows to do a reasonable video record, then at least you will have the chance to see it on my youtube channel!
The logic is done now, the songs need some fine tuning! I have to place the camera's and to consider what the player will see while playing a song! But I'm making fantastic progress!

Many greetings, Jürgen^^

Let me try to calm the waves! I'm sure that Woutery didn't intend to offend you, GuiSly, though I have to say that your humor is sometimes a little bit provocative, Woutery! I appreciate your advice, and I'm thankful for warning me, not to invest time and effort in a game which many people believe to be dead already! But I like lbpv as I described above (and I also consider me not to be a noob, H4Hler or level copying "such" ) and I'm glad that there still are like-minded people! The lbpv community deserves to get some new stuff and not to get forgotten! So lets create happily on whichever console and contribute to a varied pool of levels, so that people will be able to play happily forever!

*sigh!^...so touched by my own words! *

Many greetings, Jürgen

The fact that you can not see the difference between a critic and a troll says enough about your immaturity. All the people left on LBPV (except Curious then) are exactly the same as you, most of them can't properly speak English, are bad or at least not very good at creating, and some of them are downright idiots that H4H and do stupid stuff (take for example the biggest H4H'ing noob Midopower who'se """"creating group"""" it clearly says you're in on your LBP3 profile). That is really the main reason why i quit it once i got my PS3. If i had the cartridge i'd go back and check my old levels but i'm never going to return to the hellhole of grammarless 10-year-olds it has turned into.

LBPV is an outdated game. It's from 2012. 2012! It's becoming older and older and by now mostly everyone has gotten a PS4 and LBP3 and the game has become nearly abandoned from what i can tell, except for the small few people who want to make something out of it but fail since they are the only people actually left on the game so they can't ever get new people in. When was the most recent Team Pick? Way over half a year ago. Are we getting LBP1 picks still? Or even LBP2 picks? Nope, because by now those games are dead. LBP2 a lot less since it was a gigantic hit game, but there's not as much love for it since the love is all on LBP3 right now.

LBPV is dead, it's filled with immature noobs and i don't see any reason to stay on LBPV. Also, not trying to rant here but Curious, you could always buy a TV yourself. They're pretty cheap secondhand.

Woutery is the type of person that has to rain on everyone's parade. I think everyone has gotten use to it at this point

I have psvita and lbpv. I would check it if i could.
But it is thanks to $ony that i dont play it.
The politics with online pass are to gready in my opinion.
(this was one of reasons to not buy ps4 for me)
The pics are looking interesting.
Knowing some of your music, this should be cool level.
If you put it on youtube in the future, i will look to check it out.
Have fun playing and creating.

That's because you lost the cartridge.
There are some cool levels that people make.

woutery.. this is a music level thread.. not a place to criticize LBP vita and imply that other members are "noobs".. this is entirely inappropriate.

Criticism is alright, but without manners you're just being a bully. Respect others even if they are making mistakes. Instead pointing out the bads, try to be helpful and give them advice.

As for the level, looking forward to play it.

:/ i'm sorry CuriosSack. i'm sure it's a fantastic gallery. The music community seems to lack basic manners these days.

I have deleted a completely unrelated (and rude) post from @TheMorta. this thread is for a level. it is very inconsiderate and rude to cause this sort of nonsense on someone's level thread. if you wish to criticize LBP, there are other threads and sections for that.

Thanks a lot, nerd_dog, I think that you could close this thread because I'm making good progress and I'm hoping that my next posting about my "Musical Glyphs" level will be a thread in the level showcase section!
Thank you all and have a fine weekend, Jürgen^^
