A BUNCH of spambots are all over the forums, spamming away. There was one earlier this morning here, and it was pretty bad, but now there are 3 bots now. 3. u2022_armankhan--.html u2023_fghjgdh.html u2021_parmodbhargav---.html I think it might be the same guy... actually.

This is really going on my nerves (the bots) we are doing to our best to fix that We deleted 17 registered users and over 300 spam threads

Probably because of the search engine's results. If you type in google, LittleBigPlanet forums, this forum is the 3rd search result. But yeah, bots are pretty annoying <<

Many bots are still trying to join LBF! But now Admins have to confirm a user before they can get registered as a new member!

Hand-held verifications are a bit of a problem if you look at it in the long run. Maybe a captcha system would be more effective and I think Xorbor has a native one.

Many forums do use the hand-held verification to avoid bots... Some forums even use both captcha and hand-held verification, but those bots really are annoying.

We were using the Captcha verification and an e-mail verification. but some bots were still sble to register and spam the forum so we changed it ...Hand held verifications are annoying bur we don't know what to do at the moment
