I was thinking of buying LBP1 GOTY, but will my progress stay on the new version or will I have to start again? I have some levels on my moon that I made when I was like 5, and I don't really want to lose them.

The DLC of the GOTY edition will not be available in LBP3, but when there is no DLC in your levels, you can use them in LBP3... when you just want to change from LBP1 to LBP1 GOTY, this is no problem, same profile is used...

I think there might me incompatibities when you try to use the different version of the game in a way that try to load your save data that was saved using disc, using digital version. In between GOTY and standard version, I'm unsure though. It's best to backup your data in case of something happening.
