Taking a break from my main project, I’m in the midst of creating a game that takes place in space! Now I had two ideas for this: Underater or Space. Hm, well I guess I could do both. Moonsider is a survival game that requires constant attention to stay alive. Your oxygen tank is leaking air and you must find a way to survive. Use your points to build tools and weapons. Keep breathing...

I'm glad I could inspire you! A survival game in space? This sounds very interesting!

Indeed! So far, I’ve made the in-game menu in which the player can learn about the game and craft his or her tools.
This would be my first game to ever consist of an in-game menu as I have NEVER made one before.
I had to watch the same tutorial twice just to learn how to create menus... Once I set up the shop system, I’ll focus more on the Moon’s Terrain. As you explore the moon and find oxygen, the player will eventually reach the dark side of the moon. Extraterrestrials that lurk, will do anything they can to make sure you die. Harsh I know. But that’s life!

In 2012 I didn't know how to make a menu. Nowadays it's as simple as pushing a button. And it's fun to make!

Just added two tools the player can buy:
The Moon Drill-Used to harvest moon rocks (Larger ones)
Blaster- Fend off the Moonsidians (Aliens from the dark side of the moon)
To craft (Or really purchase) just save up points that are given to you from harvesting moon resources.
