Tomboy Vega West is drawn to the awesome smell of adventure when the town of Mapleton is being tortured by the local ruffians! Though Halloween is all about mischief, things have been getting very bad. After Halloween night, Valerie West (Vega’s more mature and younger sister)does her job as a reporter, and questions the entire town, desperate for answers as of to why these no gooders did what they did. Both sisters go on a long adventure to find out what is happening to Mapleton.
