Ok, so I've just not long got a ps3, and I've been thinking about getting LBP3 on it, but here stands the problem, I have many questions.
1. Hows the community? is it dead like LBPV? Are there good levels or hateful people?
2. Can I cross play? am I able to play on levels and with players that are on PS4 or is it like an entirely different world?
3. I've heard that LBP3 is mega glitchy and buggy, is this true and have these problems since been fixed?
4. Word is that LBP3 corrupts ALOT and its WORSE than LBPV. is this true and can I expect to have my hard work incinerated?
5. What is the overall experience? will I regret buying LBP3 because the community dies soon after I join? I understand its been like 2 years since the release but is the game dying out already or does it have many years till it loses interest?

And please DON'T tell me to get a ps4! I'm way to poor for that shaz and can't afford near $1000 for one console!!

1. the community is still very active, dont know, which levels you like, but there are really great levels and of course many f... levels, too
2. You can play all levels of the PS4 version, too, but they can have lag on PS3, you can only play online with friends on PS3, no crossplay between PS3 and PS4
3. Many things were fixed, but there are still many bugs, you have a chance, that you cannot continue storymode and have to replay it again, multiplayer is really bad sometimes, but playing community levels (alone) should work... PS3 loading times are crazy, too... but its playable...
4. Corrupted profiles are mostly on PS4, PS3 version is better, just make a backup of your profile every day and make a backup of your levels, then everything is fine
5. LBP3 is still great, it changed over the time a bit to a FNAF game, because kiddies seem to like these levels, but everyone can find great levels, I‘am just sad, that people are not so active anymore in the forums like this one...

1. The Community Is Semi Dead, but the haters are pretty much not there anymore. And LBP3 Has some AMAZING community levels

2.You Can play levels create by PS4 Users on your PS3 But you cant play with PS4 Users with your PS3 Version of the game, sorry!

3. Yeah the game can be glitchy at times but NOWHERE near as glitch on its release

4. More so on the PS4 Version i heard, my profile hasn't corrupted in like 6 months soooo... take the risk i guess?

5. Hm, that's a tricky one. i still play LBP3 Because i have friends that use it too, and i don't think it'll be easy to make friends on LBP3, the friends i have now i met from LBP2, So if you dont have friends to play with... No guess

what do you mean 'semi-dead' ? for example if you post a good level will you get around 1000 plays in a few days?


and $300 for a PS4!? not in Australia! first rule of living in Australia: most game consoles are double what you'd pay in America. I payed $200 for my PS3 new, the only situation in which any PS4 would be $300 here is at least 3 years after the release of a PS5.

What do you guys have with the phrase 'It's dead'?!

LBP3 is not 'dead' or semi dead. People are still playing it. Good levels get teampicked, a few contests are always around and some new levels can get high amounts of plays.

I always read about those problems with the profile corruption error, but I didn't encounter this too often. 2 times in LBP3 and 4 times in LBPV. And when it happens I am prepared. My tip: BACK UP YOUR FILES DAYLY. It can't happen suddenly when you're prepared.

And about LBP Vita: Everyone says this game is dead, though some people still create cool levels. You might wanna take a closer look.

Other than that: It's not a big deal if you play it on PS3/PS4. So I would say 'Welcome to LBP3' and 'Welcome to LittleBigForum'.

-Has better graphic and it is in 1080p .
-You don't have to collect all prize bubble in lbp2 and 1. (There just button that lets you unlock them all)
PS3
-No need to worry about glitches (*cough profile corruption)
-You'll still get the full experience
-Lastly you can transfer your progress from previous games.

If you own ps3 buy LBP GOTY and LBP2 special edition then look up community levels that give you all the story items without playing the levels and dlc story packs

most of these levels are incomplete, it's better to go through story mode after playing them.
