Who has plans on how to celebrate LittleBigPlanet's 10th year next year on Oct 27th 2018. That's right everyone's favorite leather burlap sack full of ice cream and fluff is turning 10 in roughly a year. I'm ddusting off my PS3 and building a LBP level that leads to a LBP2 level then ending on a LBP 3 level to celebrate all 10yrs.

OMG how did we even survive the first LBP game? Going back and trying to build something and it's like going back in time before the internet. Seriously I think LBP3 has spoiled me Honestly trying to get use to old tool sets and build an anniversary level is challenging fun actually

Yeah, LBP1 was different. Less tools, things had to be done in different ways and there were less possibilities. Though if you were creative enough you could create some cool things.

So how best should we celebrate this year? By doing stuff on LBP3 or encourage those with PS3s and the first LBP to do stuff. We really should figure out ways to encourage the fan base to get excited about it. I realize I'm a tad bit early on this, but figure a year's notice is best for encouraging the community to start creating for it with ample time to focus on quality rather then last minute cram sessions.

You are right. More time is better than less time.

But to be honest: To make this thing a big you need to be known a little bit and convincing enough so people join this. But you could also make it on your own and create a small level series in LBP3. Make a level in LBP1 and 2, publish them as locked and copy them in LBP3 onto your moon. Then make a LBP3 level and connect it in a adventure. This could be cool and both PS3 and PS4 players are able to play it. PS4 only - players dont have LBP1-2, so thats the best solution.

It's okay I'm old lbp 1 vet and was well known just spent last 3 years employed in a commercial truck. I shout loud enough people will remember me I don't plan on anything to big myself. Mainly just getting people thinking about and dipping my toes back into the community after being off stage for awhile. Just want to make sure the 10th year anniversary doesn't sneak up on the community.

Out of the past 10yrs what was your favorite LBP related moment. Mine was meeting Spaff and Johnnee back in 2011

I had many cool moments while playing LBP and writing posts in the forums. Even a single positive review is a good thing for me.

My thoughts is next four months do 1 LBP 10yr anniversary level. Then the next four months do 1 lbp2 level each month then the last 4 months leading into October 2018 will be LBP3 levels.

I'll need to suggest 10yr anniversary contest around other llbp sites too. 
I'll probably start my 1st LBP1 level by November 27th this year.

I'd make 3 levels. Level 1 in LBP1, Level 2 in LBP2, Level 3 in LBP3 and then you import Level 1 and 2 into LBP3 and create a small adventure. Though I am looking forward for your ideas.

Just remember to pass along the word and help encourage the ideas.

I am working on a big project in LBP3, but I think I could help out here and there.

All you really need to do is just pass the word around. Just remind those you come across that we are coming up on the 10th anniversary so if they want to do any thing special for it themselves they have plenty of time. The key is just getting the community aware of the fact.
