Trouble in the Cloud World - A Series by me

Hey everyone, Fizzlesnoof here. I was poking around the forum, and I found a place to share lbp2 levels. So, I figured I may as well share my biggest most complex series of levels to date: Trouble in the Cloud World. It's a story-based platforming adventure spanning a total of five different levels (Six if you count the ending cutscene.) In it, you have to save the cloud world, home of the balloons who float into the atmosphere, from a greedy god named Gottahaveitall.
If you're a fan of platforming, creative characters, and an in-depth story, feel free to check it out on my lbp profile (Which is still Fizzlesnoof)
That's all I really wanted to say. As always, I'm Fizzlesnoof, and I'll see you all later. Happy gaming everyone!

I thought I could empy my queue a little bit, but with all the new showcased levels this seems to be a vain endeavor...
I wish your level series luck and that lots of players will enjoy it!

Many greetings, Jürgen^^

Thanks! If you plan on playing this series, could you perhaps give me some feedback via a review or comment? It's not necessary, I'd just really appreciate it.

I'm playing it right now! I'm at part 3.
---
So, I finished the adventure. I want to leave a review here:

Story: The story was quite interesting. We don't have sackbots here but balloons. I have never seen that. Creative!

Gameplay: It wasn't the best, because it didn't feel smooth. Here and there it was really cool though! Challenging as well. I love that!

Design: The design wasn't perfect. The worlds felt kind of naked. At the graveyard I would have used grass decorations and rocks or something. Here and there it was creative though.

Fights: Challenging and fun, but repetitive. The fight against myself was kind of epic though.

In the end it was a nice and entertaining little adventure! Cool work! I liked it. I would like to see more.

Thanks for your review. Allow me to answer for a couple of those.
1: There's actually a reason I didn't use sackbots which will be explained in a level I plan on making in the near future. Keep an eye out!
2: If you have any ideas for how to assist the gameplay aspect, I'd love to hear from you!
3: Yeah... I'm not the best with decor. I'd love to update the levels with more scenery at some point, though.
4: I legitimately didn't know how to mix up the sackbot boss fights. I tried to add minibosses to give some variety, but I need some practice on boss making.
5: You're in luck if you want more! I plan on making two sequels to Cloud World (One on lbp1, and one on lbp3) So expect to see those get threads sometime in the future.

Thanks again, and as always, I hope you have an awesome day!

Thank you for your answer!

You can look at games like Uncharted. Some riddles, climbing, jumping, shooting and then the story. You have a few options here.
You could give the player a weapon (Creatinator) for some places in the level. For example a water gun that kills fire enemies after 10 shots. Those enemies shoot at you for a second and then they open themself so you can shoot 'em. And from level to level it gets slightly more challenging. The boss battles are repetitive, but they were fun. Here you could make the enemy smaller and the stage a little more complex. Add bounce bads, some platforms, some lava here and there to make the player move around a little bit.

Decorating a place can be difficult, but you can search the place you want to make in google images. Get inspiration. It helps.

I really enjoyed your little adventure. It has its flaws, but that's okay. You were putting a lot of effort in it, I noticed that.

I am looking forward to see how it continues!

I'll be sure to keep those things in mind for the sequels.
Also, if you're interested, I'd love to hear your feedback on an lbp3 project I'm working on: https://littlebigforum.net/index.php?t=4691
