Hi community!



I'm working on a new project with the title "Five Reasons Why".

This project is intended to be an advertising level for the main LBP forums to draw the attention of new LBP players (and watching the number of plays, that team picked level get these days, there must be many new players outside) to the advantages of joining a LBP forum.

The level will be a sample of little movie sequences, which illustrate the different arguments in a funny or ironical way.
The main actors are an old man (narrator) who tells sackboy about his five reasons, why he recommends to join a forum, which are...

meet friends
get information
intensify the gaming experience
get recommendations
showcase own creations

After explaining one of these arguments by the narrator, sackboy shows in a little movie sequence his "practical experience" concerning this argument. If you already know my kind of humor (with a lot of self-irony) then you probably can imagine that sackboy will have some funny adventures...

I've already created the intro and the movie set for the "meet friends", "get info", and the "recommendations" arguments. I'm just working on the set for "intensify the gaming experience".

After the sets are done I will do the animations! I hope that these will be done till end of May.

Doing the concept for this project I had the idea to link the level with little self-portrait levels of the main forums. In the way that at the end of the level the player will be able to enter the level links of each forum' self-portrait level!

The self-portrait level could be comparable to an exhibition stand, where maybe one could see the avatars of the admins and mods or of the crew. and which is themed about a speciality which is significant for the forum,
F.e. the speciality of lbp-hub.com could be that its a German forum, littlebigforum.eu could show that it has LBF Music and sackinima.com has an orange cult and an apple cult ;P and so on!

I'm making good progress with the "Five Reasons Why" project, but I could need some help with the forum self-portrait levels, if the forums are interested!
It would be fantastic, if in each forum I could find a volunteer to create such a self-portrait level. It would be already great if in each forum people could collect ideas, what the speciality of the forum could be!

thanks for your offer, I will contact you, if I need voice actings! But first I want to do the movie sequences and if they are done then I will decide which voice actings are needed!

By the way: 5 Reasons Why! Did you choose the name because of 13 Reasons Why? I love this series. Cool name!

I've continued working on the project with creating the scenery, where the narrator is telling sackboy about the advantages of being member of a forum! First I created a kitchen scene, a warm and comfortable place, the scent of the roasting meal on the oven...

...but it costed too much thermo, so I changed the scenery and made it a nature scene, sitting in a boat on a little pond, with a fishing gear, and millions of mosquitos around...

...not so comfortable, but first the fish has to get caught before you can cook him in your kitchen, hasn't it? :p

Cool project indeed! I'd be interested in voice acting as well. I've never done it in LBP, so I'd really like to try!
