So I just looked back on the launch trailers for LittleBigPlanet 2, And cried for a serious 10 minutes. Littlebigplanet 3 is cool.. But I will never forget Littlebigplanet 2.. Thankfully, the servers aren't shutting down yet.. But the community will never be the same.. Remember the cool pages? Oh.. How I'd work so hard and advertise so much just to make it to the cool pages.. I didn't know to appreciate LBP2 as a child. But looking back on what it has made me.
I wouldn't change a thing. Anyways.. I don't really know what I'm doing here on the forum.. I guess I just miss it..
I met my girlfriend on there, we pretty much ended up being neighbors in real life, the whole time. So I can thank LBP2 for that. I dunno.. Yeah, this is a ramble. if you don't enjoy it, click away.. Please.
So yeah.. I miss Littlebigplanet 2. It has changed my life for the better, And It'll stay that way forever.

Thank You Media Molecule.

I miss LBP2 times too. Back in the day I didn't use to care about school much, as I was just about to finish primary school and at any day of the weekend jumped straight into the game right after waking up. It was that addictive. I loved everything about this game. The way you can create your own levels was insane as the game kept me surprising, the way you can share your creations to everyone, and the way you can interact with people.. It was amazing. I met so many great people. I even made my girlfriend there too, though sadly we broke up 2 years later , but at least she's still a friend - a friend who has changed my life (I used to be so much pessimistic and egoistic). I also can't count the huge amount of time spent with friends creating together, playing random levels together or just having fun chatting about anything. It was that social kind aspect in this game that I liked soo much.

And I gotta admit LBP3 has ruined it for us all. Some of the people say that the game has lost its vibe, and at some sort, it's true. However it was the rush for releasing a game on its said date. This gave the developers no time to improve the game's stability and overall they had to left so many bugs and technical issues that it felt so disappointing. It wasn't a good sight for me of a list of friends who bought the game, not playing it, while I was just starting playing. Majority of time I've played the game completely alone. That's not how the LBP2 used to be :/

I just hope Media Molecule will release Dreams someday, and maybe - take the LBP2s success. Just too bad it's still unknown how's the game would be played.

Yeah, Heh.. Uh. I remember each of my friends having different time zones. So I'd plan my schedule around playing with them. There was nothing like waking up on a weekend and going to play LBP2. I was well known for all the music requests I answered. And though I may not have made it to the cool pages. It was still fun to try xD and looking back on those attempts.. MMmmmmmm xD so basically. I'm trying to install a PS3 Emulator on my PC so I can play more LBP.

Then you might want to wait a couple more years, PlayStation 3 emulators are far from good, both in emulation and performance.

Hi Cynda, cool to meet you again.

I never really played online too much so the LBP3 online problem didn't affect me. However I like what LBP3 offers.

Sometimes I think about the time of LBP1. Cool times. But I think it's good to use what we have now.

Okay, as long as it doesn't go into the 'LBP3 is bad and LBP is dead' direction I'm ok with this.

I bought LBP2 because of the forums. I loved the forums so much. You never finished reading all the posts of new levels. Even LBP Vita had much activity. I like that. I still love the forums.

I think LBP3 is great! But the community heart died. It was rushed. It's still good, but most of my favorite creators from LBP2 left..

Many creators left and still leave. New ones join. It's the circle of LBP life.
