I always wanted the crown in LBP, but I don't how. Do you guys know how? I know you get the crown in "LBFC5", but that's all I know. I heard rumors you get like so many plays, hearts and Team picks, but I don't know if they are true or not

Make a tweet like 'Hey dog, gimme the crown. I have a level called H4H. I put so much effort in it! So send me the crown dog!', it should help.

No, seriously, it's connected with luck. Make a great level, wait and maybe it's famous.

What kind of art do they accept? I'm in the works of making a 3D controlantor. Would they accept that?

I heard some guy got it for making an LBP t-shirt.
Basically, you either win a contest, get multiple Team Picks or do something special to promote the LBP franchise.

Although, that was centuries ago, maybe things have changed since then.

That's not how it works. You can't make a fanart just for getting something. There is no "how to" for a crown. Some people have it for very special things they did (like me and Deka1357), but the most likely way for a normal creator to get a crown is by participating in a crown contest. See, the 4th Place JJJ-20 won the crown is the first 3 already have it and participated mainly for the pin.

My advise: Improve your creating skills and participate in contest or make something very unique/special. Copying something someone else did won't work because that's not the reason to give someone a crown

Fanart only worked in the days when Media Molecule staff were moderators and you all know how long ago that was.

In times of LBP1-2 you got the crown for a Team Pick, right? Well, making some great levels in a row would be an option.

No, you never got the crown for just having a teampick, only when your teampick was super special mega brilliant

Yeah, thats pretty much what I mean. But in times of LBP3 many many guys get a Teampick. Even levels with 500 plays or so.

The crown is for people who contributed a great deal to the LBP community.
That's basically it.

I agree with you Techtad. Some guys like Darknessbear or Bigsurf77 have it and they made great levels. Darknessbear made Little Dead Space and Bigsurf... well he makes cool levels in a row.

I have 2 examples for getting the crown for teampicks/levels:

Bigsurf77, chaosgear and Tropical_Guner got their Crown and the Awesomesauce Pin for "The Seasonal Spirit Awesomesauce Award", for a Halloween, Christmas and Easter level in 2013.

And I think evret got his Crown for a very cool LBP Vita level SURGE Lite and the developers of it loved it so much so they said the LBP team to award him the Crown and Awesomesauce Pin.

Other people got their crown for having a great fansite (like FreddyFerrari and me for LBF). And other people for winning crown contests from those sites (like bombird or knowntokill for LBF contests).

So in conclusion you can get the crown by joining a forum contest or making remarkable levels that the dev team really likes.

I personally got the LittleBigForum pin, which is nice, and I think that's enough for me.

Basically what Freddy said. In the olden days of LBP, sure, people got the crown for making freaking awesome art projects. One girl got one for making a freaking cool necklace. I'd show it to you but unfortunately, she posted it on the LBP Planetarium site and that's now gone. I've never heard of someone getting a crown for multiple team picks. Basically, ya gots to win a crown contest.

Why did LBP Planetarium get taken down anyways?

Because myself and maybe two others were the only ones posting there for the past year so I guess Baghead (the Administrator) figured it wasn't worth it to keep paying for it.
