Help with music objects/ custom characters

Hello

Sorry if this is a really obvious question, but I'm brand new to the game and am currently making my first level.

At the moment I have one music object at the beginning of my level, which plays the song on a loop. What I want to do is have it play a different song when that one is finished, rather than just having the same song repeat, but I can't see an obvious way to do this.

Also, is there a way to spawn as a custom character? At the moment I'm using the character tweaker upon entering the level, but it's not instantaneous so it looks a bit messy.

Thanks!

There is no perfect way unfortunately to play another song just when it's finished. LBP's framerate has influence of the game. When the framerate is worse than 30 fps then everything slows down that counts (timer, sequencer) but the music sequencer. Music sequencer's header tries to catch up when frames are lost, but it's too slow, that it always is going to be left behind thus if you set for example the music sequencer to loop itself, it would take like 30 seconds to replay, because of the framerate loss.

There's two ways of it:
1. If you're using custom songs (which music sequencer provides), hover onto the sequencer with Popit Cursor, press R1 to open the board, then go back and choose Tools Bag and find Battery (if it's not there then you probably need to switch on Advanced Create Mode on in the Settings). Place it at the end of the board, and take its output and connect to the next song.
2.If you're using a premade song, check the songs' length by pressing square onto them and fast forwarding to the end. It should display the total length. Now take from the Tools Bag a Timer (again turn Advanced Create mode on if you don't have it) and place as many as your songs are there. Press square at each of them and adjust their length by the songs' ones then choose Input Action (the grayed out option) as Start Counting Up (or sth similar, I don't use English language for the game, so sorry) then you're gonna have to connect every Timer's output to its Reset input. Now connect the timers together (Output to the next Timer's input etc.) and connect the same outputs to each next song that use the same length as the next Timer. You need also somehow trigger the first music and the first Timer simultaneously but it's up to you how you connect that.

Now for the character, if you want to have the character appear instantly there's no way around but Sackbots and a controlinator but I'm not gonna tell you because I feel like it's already a huge reply. The only thing I can tell it's that there are lots of LBP2 tutorials on YouTube which tell you how to make a controlable sackbot. Doesn't matter if it's the previous game, because you can do the same thing in LBP3.

I was using pre made songs and after few wrong attempts I finally got the timers working perfectly, thank you so much

I think my way of activating the first song and timer is pretty crude, the song is activated by player proximity at the entrance, with an invisible button on the floor to activate the first timer, but it seems to work. Also once the last song has played once, that song then just repeats on a loop, but I'm not too worried as it's a pretty short level.

I've managed to gain the courage to publish it now though so thank you
