I always wanted to know one thing of americans: Why do you say something like 'You ain't...' What does the ain't mean? Is it something like 'would/ I'd '?

ain't is like a short non-official form of denying in Present Simple and it can replace in any person.

I ain't - I'm not
He ain't - He's not.. etc.

I'm not a native English speaker either, but I got that information from female Polish YouTuber called Arlena Witt. She has got a lot of useful knowledge about English.

'Ain't', being a colloquial word, is often accompanied by grammar that would be incorrect in formal English, like double negatives:
'I ain't got no money'
Or you can go even further, quadruple negative:
'He ain't never done no man no harm'.
It's a lot cooler than boring formal speech.
Ain't it?

One thing I noticed is that this way of speaking seems stronger, it's more convincing. In the quadruple negative example you repeat 4 times that the man never harmed anyone, you're that certain of it. While in formal speech the speaker often doesn't seem very dedicated to what they're saying.

Has anyone of you played This War of Mine: The Little Ones? I love the game. I'm not the most active LBP3 player, but I'd like to build something like that. I'm thinking about how to make it.

@mdkd: It was a PS+ game in January or December. Don't know what month. It's not a LBP3 level. I'm thinking about if I should create something like the game or not.

I think that is a good idea. Seems difficult, though. The game has a unique feel to it, I don't think it's easy to recreate that. And there's lots of work to it, you might need a lot of free time.

In Europe, they teach British formal speech. American English is more widely spoken, they should probably switch to that.

And the UK is not even part of the EU, come on.

I can't decide if I should write/speak AE or BE. That's so confusing. Color or colour? In school they teach us BE but everywhere else AE is often used. I don't know. I use words from both in same sentences.

I learned most of my English from the internet and I don't even know if it's more BE or AE.
I tend to say some words in BE and some in AE, depending on what seems to sound/look more natural.

I think we should change the lingua franca before it's too late. A constructed language would work better. Esperanto would be good for Europe, but not necessarily for the rest of the world.
There are certainly a lot of languages that would work better than English.

I'd say that English would be great for Europe. Just saying.

And about English, I might be proud to say that I have learnt English for 4-5 years thanks to LBP, especially when I was browsing through a lot of people's profiles in community, like some hot topics back then (even I remember the rant about one of the biggest copiers - Latin_Player-10, don't know if you remember him xD ), and also kind of later then by watching YouTube. I believe thanks to this my English speech will shape this way. But I gotta admit, nowadays I can understand pretty much anyone talking English.

I personally was bad in english. When I started to play Resident Evil 4 with german subtitles, I learned many words. The grammar part was thought to me in school. I am not perfect, but I was the best in class and even better than the teacher.

Great, so you got a job as a 'haircut guy'.
*Looks at google translater
*Sees 'hair stylist' and 'hairdresser'

So you got a job as a hair stylist. Cool!

Not quite. Average monthly net pay in Poland is around 2000 zl, or 500€, while average net pay in Germany is well over 2000€. So Poles, by paying 20 zl/~`5€ pay 1% of their monthly wage, while Germans paying 10€ pay 0.5% of their monthly wage.

It's 2 times more expensive in Poland.

And in Germany the average is lowered by immigrants, who work for less than most Germans, while in Poland the number is raised greatly by politicians, who make astronomical money.
Most Poles get less than 500€ and most Germans get a lot more than 2000€.

I wouldn't say it's cheap.

In germany 10€ is for cutting, when you already have a style, making a new one costs much more, a "Dauerwelle" can cost up to 100€ Or more... Funny fact: In germany men and women have to pay different prize for same cut, woman have to pay about 200% of prize...

And they accuse us of being less progressive. xD

It's probably just because women usually have more hair, though. More work to do the cut.

Let's talk about upcoming movies! There are so many good movies this year. I still have to watch Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and I can't wait to watch Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor 3: Ragnarok later this year. Marvel is just awesome!

My Must-Watch-List: Pirates of the Caribbean 5, Alien: Covenant, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, The Circle (because of Emma Watson), The Mummy, Transformers 5: The Last Knight (ok, it's bullshit and not worthy to watch in the cinema, but on Amazon), It (looks much gloomier than the original), Annabelle 2: Creation, Valerian (looks really good, can't wait!), maybe SAW 8?

I have certainly forgotten many films. What is your Must-Watch-List?

I saw guardians of the galaxy 2 with my girl and she enjoyed it so much even if she didn't saw the first one, ...so guardians 2 is my favourite this year ,no plans to see another movie yet, maybe the remake of IT! or the dark tower, or tomb raider next yearXD ... unless Laika releases another animated movie, i loved Kubo and the two strings!

I definitely watch too many series. Game of Thrones is my fav one! No other series can beat it. I've also watched all Marvel series and will watch all upcoming Marvel series. Currently watching Penny Dreadful. It's dark and very cool. Other great series: The 100, TWD, FTWD, Vampire Diaries (I'm so sad that it's over after 8 seasons.), Grey's Anatomy and many more ...

Hmm i vote for Alien covenant.
I am fan of the frenchise since the very first Alien movie.
The Ac is since thursday in the theatre.
I dont expect to much from the movie but as a fan, i have to watch it earlier or later.

The best alien part was the second movie.
It was packed with fast paced action.
First one was very tense and atmospheric.
Third was lame in almost every way.
Fourth was cool again.

For those that are searching for a good game after playing horizon zero dawn I reaaaaaaally recommend Hellblade: Senua's sacrifice, is about a female Celtic warrior that suffers schizophrenia and goes to the viking hell to save the soul of her dead lover.
The game uses binaural sound so if you have headphones you can experience the voices inside Senua's head c:
