So, Im from the US, And my friend is from the UK, we both bought the game vut we have different versions due yo the location, when he tries to join me it says its overheated or something like that, i still have to download the 2nd part of the game, my question is: are those versions compatible so i can play with him? Or it wont let us play together

In case of multiplayer, different regionally versions doesn't matter but the platform or NAT type and speed of your connection does. But have you been downloading this game on PS4? If yes, then you're gonna wait until the download and installation is fully complete. I have downloaded this game as well and I know this as well that many of the features is not available by pre-download including joining friends. If you somehow managed to access the option to join the friend you will get this error. I was able to get into friends list too but it also had been giving me that overheat error.

So nothing to worry about, just wait until the game finishes its installation progress.
