Hello Sackfolks.
 
I think some of you already know that the online service of LittleBigPlanet series will be closed on July 31 2016, only for Japanese version. 
Some people overseas have started petitions online to overturn this decision, and they are collecting numbers of signs.
We would like to take an action as well, so we start a project “Save LittleBigPlanet Japan - Group Photo”.

This is a community group photo made in a project carried out by a LBP fan site three years ago.
Taking part of that photo was fun, and it showed our unity as a big global community. Remembering that, we want to show our unity again in this situation.

We wish you to participate as many as possible, regardless your age, nationality, religions, or beliefs. 
We are planning to send the finished photo to SIEJA along with those petitions to show them how many users love LBP and grieve their decision, and plead them to reconsider it.
And for those Japanese players who won’t be able to play LBP online anymore, joining this project could be the last memory…

If I may say so myself, I greatly liked the Japanese community and those people had the most creative ideas and levels that you won't really find in the western side of the community.

I'm not opposed to these petitions and movements, but some people are being unreasonably optimistic. I've seen a handful of people who are fully confident that a few hundred signups and pictures will get Sony Japan to change their mind and suffer bad business for the sake of a minor portion of the community. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's highly unlikely.

I uploaded my pic in the level, and it should also be on my profile. I hope all of this makes a change.

A really bad decision, Sony Japan...

I liked those cool artworks, music and creative stuff. Remember Titanic by Ima Taka? Damn, what a high quality level. Little Dead Space and the Titanic level by Ima Taka motivated me to make my own cool levels.

Let's show them, that they aren't right!

We all Japanese understand it. But We have a little time until shut down.
Should we do until it? 
Play LBP? Create a level? That's one correct answer.
My friends & I hope to save JPN Community. Because we're also loving JPN community and my group as well as LBP.

Again, I'm not against it, but people are getting overly optimistic. This has likely been on the table for months now and confirmed long before they announced it to the community. They made this decision knowing full-well that there would be opposition. It is extremely unlikely that they'll back down from an important business decision and suffer financially because people are against it even though they already anticipated that.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Japanese LBP community as much as the next guy. But however unfortunate it is, it's a logical decision that we can't do much about. If these protests somehow succeed, good. If not, we can't just throw a fit.

Wow! Seeing that much of people from LBP Community is INSANE! And to think about that, there is just only a small part of the whole community! Dunno if this going to help with the petition but great job anyways! That's extremely huge effort you put in this picture
