Hey,
So here is the announcement:
Battle with Zombies 2 will come. It will come out in 2017.

The 2 is right. The shop will have more content. The 'game' will have 2 more gamemodes. The graphics will be improved. I will optimize this game for every LBP3 version. There will be a option for the graphics. Choose between PS3 and PS4. The graphics will change (obviously).

I am busy with this level. The logic is done to 30%. At the same time I am working on the LBP Vita version. I can improve both versions at the same time, and this is good. The shop and the start menu look similiar. Here is a picture of the menu:

I don't want to be a bad boy, so here are some plans for it:

I want to make a bigger map with more details. It should look cool and realistic.
I also want to care about the soundeffects. They aren't that realistic. The whole sound atmosphere isn't that cool I think.
The logic part will be the same - for the biggest part. I will change some stuff. I mean, in RL you can't reload your gun while you use the knife and throw a grenade.
The VFX aren't cool. Wow, a yellow light, when you shoot. Perfect - not. More stuff should be on the screen!
I will also add another game mode. It is called the modern mode. 10 waves, 3 different kinds of zombies: The normal ones, the fast ones and the huge ones. The classic mode will still be available.
The shop doesn't have that much stuff. Does anyone remember the level Dead Zone? A TopDown zombie shooter with loads of guns, perks and armor. Man, that was cool and challenging. I want to make more. Maybe 8 guns, 8 perks. The big help is now called 'inforcement'. There should be more stuff too.

Many plans and critic to myself. This is kind of a huge project for me. And to make it public: I AM NOT REALLY WORKING ON THIS. The developing time could be like 2-3 months, when I am focused on it. But I still have my LBP Vita projetcs. I have to focus on LBP much more. AAAND there is school, which begins at the 27th of August for me and in 2017 I will go to the army too.

Yeah, this text is long, but I hope anyone read it till here.

Just a little note:
BWZ Rotd and BWZ2 will be developed at the same time. That gives me the possibility to work in less time. Do you think a release on christmas eve could work (It worked 1 year ago)?

Wanted to give the map details.

EDIT: I am working on this right now. It's going really fast right now. I am making much progress. Closed Beta will be released at the 20th of this month.

EDIT2:
It's going even faster. I am playtesting this and it's bugfree at the moment. And also when you make sth. it takes you 0.4 sec. to recover. You can't throw a grenade, reload and make a melee attack at the same time anymore. Just a little update to the whole BWZ engine.

I am sorry, but I have to explain a few things.

The development went fast. No bugs, but still a lot to do. The shop and its content is complex, as it contains much logic, more than 100 marker tags to keep it kinda simple.

I still need some time. I hope you can forgive me. The closed BETA will still be released in 2016.

I had some problems with the inforcements and its color tags. That's solved.
The level is not for anyone. It's locked. Only friends can play it.

The full level will be released somewhere in January.

It's fixed, you can watch it. I used the link to the page, where you can edit the video as the creator of the video itself. And you aren't. So it didn't work.

Thanks, I wanted to give german players the option to play with german language in the game. This is also good for english noobs.

I also added this option because I am german. It looks more like a real game, when the german language hits the level.

Ich könnte eigentlich auch mit dir hier in Deutsch reden aber dann wären die englischsprachigen Leute benachteiligt und ausgeschlossen.

Update:
The extras/perks will be changed. They will be called 'skills'. I know, BWZ is a minigame like level and not a RPG, but the skills system in BWZ2/NG will be something like in RPGs. Listen for a moment:
There are 7 skills planned:
- More lifepoints
- More stamina
- Less cooldown for the knife
- faster reloading
- faster running
- more points per kill
- random point drops, when a zombie is killed

Those 7 skills have 3 steps. Example:
You have 6 HP, when you start. With the first step of 'more lifepoints' you get +1
The start value of the stamina bar is 100%/2.0 seconds. With every step you get 20% more. This means 0.4 seconds more.
The knife cooldown is 1.0 second. The first step decreases the time about 10%, which is 0.1 seconds.

Some skills have different values and steps. 

There are 4 inforcements right now. A sentry gun, that kills zombies in range and turns off after 20 seconds (Maybe this will also be in the skills list, I don't know), a mortar attack, double points for 20 seconds and immortality for 20 seconds. Maybe I will add skills for those things too. 10 skills would be much though!

Another update:
I worked 11 hours today. Time for a break.

I could fix some old problems, finish logic parts of the player and zombie. Many logic peaces need to be finished next time. The map looks great, but many details have to be emitted in PS4 graphics mode. I seriously like what I did.

The video looks cool. I love grenades.

And your skill system is very good. Your level could be called as a RPG minigame. I think it's going to be one of the greatest zombie shooter levels in LBP.

Do you know a LBP2 level called Dead Zone. It was a Team Pick, but it got deleted. I was inspired by it. Sadly it's gone. It was so great.

It was one of the coolest levels I have ever played. But it's gone. That forced me to keep the Battle with Zombies series alive.

I remember that level. It had many zombie waves. The zombies were fast. When the second wave started, I had to run for my life. That level was soo hard. When you shot a zombie he got angry and faster. I really miss that legel. And I am kinda the only one who remembers it...

I announced this level for july. I am almost done because I worked so hard and long the last 4 days. I wouldn't wonder, if the level was published at sunday.

I think the objects you've added are tanks!

It looks good! Keep it up.

By the way, I want to say sth to the border of your map. Why did you make a red border and not a border of objects, like water on one side or houses or a big wall? It's just a question. And later you could do expansions were the map is getting bigger, maybe a great wall gets destroyed and then you can go into the new area.

While I like the idea of this, I personally think, that the map is big enough and there is much space to discover. I am not going to leave the level in 1.00 when it's out. So maybe I will add another area. It should work.

I wanted to show the full shop menu but it's not fully functional. But here is a picture of the gun selection menu:

A closed BETA? I am not sure if I do that again. Features would be missing again. I don't like that. Maybe I'll do it.

Here's my to do list:
Add fully functional spawners
Add the last part of the modern mode logic
Add all skills with fully functional visuals in the shop
Add 2 new zombies with another logic peaces
Take a break after 1 PM and continue after 6 PM or so.

Any other suggestions?

A update was released recently. Version 1.1 is out now.

I fixed some bugs, added 2 soundtracks you can choose in the shop menu and I added a list of the controls in the game to the start menu.

As long as V 1.1 is out you should use the my offer of the sentry gun. Only 3000 EP. Until Version 1.2

Hey guys!

I have some news for Battle with Zombies 2!

I am happy to announce 

Update 1.2 !

Here is the list of the changes:
- The zombies will be slowlier and will need less bullets before they die (wave 1-2 + classic mode)
- I will increase the range, the time before the cooldown and the time for the sentry gun to exist
- The zombies will have to get closer to hit you
- I will fix some small bugs

Great news, right? If you didn't understand it, I can describe it with one sentence:
The game will get easier!

Great news!

Update 1.2 is published.

- The zombies are slowlier and less resistent
- Changed prices in the shop
- Improved values for some skills
- The sentry gun lasts 5 seconds longer, has a improved range and fires 3 seconds before the cooldown
- The LRF-9 is on offer until Update 1.3 (50% off!)

The game is really easy now compared to Version 1.0. I added one spawner to prevent the player from doing spawntrapping and beating the game's mechanism with that.

Bad news for PS3 players: The PS3 can't handle so much activ emitters and more than 10 zombies at the same time. I can't fully improve the game for PS3.

Even after update 1.2 made the game easier, many player don't score more than 500 points. Some of them even play the level 3 times and score 0 points. How is that possible?
