So... what is Traffic Panic?
The main concept of Traffic Panic! is that you are in control of a traffic light for a cross-road, as seen here:

Ah, but don't let that image fool you! It may look easy and simple, but a tricky challenge awaits!

Your aim is to get as many cars to cross the road as you can, without causing a crash with the cars zooming left and right, or causing a traffic jam. Again, it may sound very easy, but rest assured it is challenging and very... *ahem*, very, addictive.

In the original level, Traffic Panic!, that was pretty much all there was to it. Lets cars by, don't cause a crash or a traffic jam, and earn points. However, for Road Rage, there's a little more to it than that.

Power-Ups!
If you scroll up to the picture above, you'll see a little green glowing orb. This orb is a Power-Up. There are now four power-ups, which do the following when of you cars collides into them:

(*)Green: Earns the player 150 points
(*)Red: Destroys all cars on the screen and earns the player 100 points
(*)Blue: Slows down the traffic travelling to the left and to the right for 10 seconds
(*)Orange: Puts up temporary traffic lights halting the traffic travelling to the left and right and clearing a passageway for your cars to pass through with no obstacles for 10 seconds

More Maps!

As seen in this menu image, there are now several Maps for the player to play with in Road Rage!. To unlock these maps you must accumulate a certain amount of points. Once unlocked, they will remain unlocked forever - even if you leave the level and join back again.

(*)Wild West takes place in an American 1885 desert setting with sand, cacti, railroads, and maybe a Back To The Future Part III reference.... maybe...
(*)Double Crossroad is exactly what you think it might be - a situation whereby the player controls two crossroads at the same time (very difficult!). Players may recognize this from the original Traffic Panic!, however this time the choice as to whether you want to play it is completely up to you.
(*)Back To The Past is... well, you'll have to find out for yourselves!

Character Packs!

Just like how you can unlock maps by reaching a certain score, you can also unlock Character Packs to show up in your lanes of traffic by reaching certain scores (sometimes on certain maps), or completing other tasks (such as using a Power-Up). Whoo! The list of available Character Packs are:

(*)Superhero Pack contains Batman, Batwoman, Iron Man and The Thing
(*)LittleBigPlanet 2 Pack contains Da Vinci, Eve, Clive an Dr. Higginbotham
(*)Sonic The Hedgehog Pack contains Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Dr. Eggman
(*)LittleBigPlanet 3 Pack contains Newton, Marlon Random, Queenie and Irene

General Awesomeness!
The music has been custom-made by craigmond, a fellow member of the community!

If players are playing on a PlayStation 3 System, they will automatically be taken to another version of the level optimized to run a lot smoother for PlayStation 3 systems, as there had been some complaints about the level whilst running on PlayStation 3. There's no need to do anything, simply load Traffic Panic 2: Road Rage! like normal, and the logic will do the rest!
