Where are you, LBP Vita players?!

I'm bewildered about LBP Vita. I hate it, when the developers leave a game and go to the next one.
There are some issues at the menus, at some gameplay elements, at the creative mode and more.
But also, I want to say, that there are 100 players online. AT THE WHOLE WORLD. And LBP Vita was sold like a million. I think it's normal, that a game gets old and less views, but LBP3 smashed away LBP1 and LBPVita.
I don't think that I can get much plays, hearts and something at LBP Vita, but I will continue creating my Battle with zombies series and my platformers.

I will also continue making my german videos about LBP Vita and I will still record my music and make english videos for my YT channel 'mdkd99'.

THX for reading. I want to hear your opinion.

LBPV was dead already a year ago. I don't see why people still play it. The cool pages don't update frequently anymore, there's no one online, and nearly everyone has moved over to LBP3 anyways. I'd say that you should get a PS3 or 4 somewhere cheap, and LBP3, and create there, it has much more activity and loads of new tools too.

Hi mdkd,

maybe that we're some dinosaurs, but I also love my lbp vita, but Woutery probably is right, lbp vita is past its prime and only few "incurables" are left! Nevertheless I will go on working on two further projects and publish them for the vita. My "Musical Glyphs" has got only 8 plays and I assume that my next projects won't get more, but never mind! Its nevertheless fun creating with lbp vita and if the lbp community doesn't notice this then you're right to do a videorecord and upload it to youtube!

Many greetings, Jürgen^^

I think, a second part of LBP Vita would be great.
With some new features of LBP3. I would like that.
Woutery, I do have a PS3 with LBP1, 2 and 3. But at the evening I like to play on my VITA.

No... i doubt that would work. The Vita is a really impopular handheld (which i think is stupid, honestly, it's way better than the cheapy handhelds Nintendo produces) and just like LBPV, it's over it's better days. No developer would put their time into creating a new LBP title for the Vita, as it won't sell, and thus won't make them any profit.

That's it. I think the PSVITA is dying. Slow and painful...

Until there we still have some time to create stuff, CuriousSack.

Just wanted to say something about myself.

i've been playing LBP for years, my first LBP has LBP PSP and I enjoyed it and teamed with the greatest makers.

some makers have gone to lbp vita and made Team choices! They were great but they quit one by one,
even I took a break but I have returned! The ol group of mine had a project, a couple of lvls throughout the world(Europe, America, Antarctica, etc sadly, we lost contact with others and the project was called dead. I hope wecan arrange a new project.

kindly,
ol LBP Player totodiel

I only played some of LBPV, but I kind of liked the different possibilities it offered, especially paired up with the PS3. I think the real shame is the PS4 and LBP3 support for the Vita is garbage. There's so many possibilities with having a separate second screen on a level. It's one of the few things I liked about my Wii U. They should revisit it, even if it's just redesigned as a touchscreen controller. At least that would be something.

Haha, many guys allways say 'The PS Vita is dead.' So, because some cool guys left, something is dead? This is a bad view of something.

I agree, that Sony didn't pay developers anymore since 2015 to make blockbusters and I really hate it too, but calling something dead, when someone else does, is just stupid.
Just a little example: You see someone, who is injured and on the ground. It is easy to say 'He ndees help', but to put effort into something, you have to put effort into something. You don't want to hear that, but many of you are easy to influence...

I would like to have a LBP Vita 2. The game is really nice and perfect for the PS Vita. A new part would again attract more people to the console. But as it seems, there won't be any 1st party titles for the Vita in the future. And without any good games you don't turn on the Vita.

I still play the PS Plus games and sometimes LBP Vita. For me, the console is not dead.

I love my Vita and love LBP for it. I think it would still be a good and bustling community had they not abandoned it. They just left by the side of the road and didn't do ANYTHING to try and promote it.

I bought LBP Vita when it was brand new but I haven't played it since then because I became burned out of LBP shortly after purchasing it due to how many hours I sunk into LBP2. Today though, I decided to give it another shot and I've been enjoying it so far. Online froze once or twice when I was playing it but other than that it was pretty solid and there was a reasonable amount of people online, around 200 or so on average (I think the lowest number I ever saw for total players was around 80 or so, but even then that's still a decent group of players), and I didn't have much trouble joining anyone through Dive In.

I do realize most of the stigma surrounding the Vita and LBPV is probably due to the Vita becoming a highly unpopular device ever since Sony kicked it under the rug and moved on with PS4, but this game and this system are far from dead from what I've seen. I really hate the argument people always make about the Vita being dead when it clearly still has an audience, albeit smaller than it was originally when it launched. I think the smaller player base on LBPV these days isn't necessarily a completely bad thing, it forces levels most people make to come from the heart rather than just to rack up a level's play or heart count and the community is a lot closer together than in other LBP games due to how small it is now.

I don't own a PS4, and I'm not sure if I'll ever pick LBP3 up for PS3 someday or not, but for the time being LBP Vita is probably going to be my goto LBP game until I decide to get LBP3 or LBP Karting's servers ever get fixed for the digital version I own, and even then I can't take either of those versions with me on the go, so here's at least one person that's out there who's going to regularly be playing this game.

If anyone else is out there still playing this game that wants to meet up, play some community levels or create something together just send me a message or a friend request on PSN (my ID is TAPFS) and I'll get back to you asap.

Sounds great.
I got LBPV with my PS Vita in march 2013. I am still playing it.

It is a great game, I like the stuff like invisible material, sticker panel and the option to get the whole shaders away.

The reason why I bought the Vita, is that is was my personal console. I can play everywhere and you can watch YT videos and visit almost every website, but a little bit slowlier than a modern cellphone. It is also big enough and not too big for my hands and playing with a controller grip is awesome and feels good.

The problem is, that many players create ugly levels, because they don't know all features of LBPV. It's OK for me, but there are less players, who really play levels and take the effort to understand it. My Battle with Zombies levels, well my new ones have a start menu with some options. Less do use them.

However, I'll text you soon.

Add me if you wanna play! My PSN is GayaXLuna. I love LBP and need to finish getting the trophies for the vita version. It really is sad how dead the community feels, the game is a ton of fun and lets you download levels to play.

I want to add something:

I never let the crowd decide if I should play something or not. I don't care about the numbers, I care about the fun. It's just sad to see that some others maybe let others decide.

Last time in LBPV, 2 days ago, I saw some cool levels in the cool pages that got published this year.

I'm still vita. I have such good memories in this lbp game. So far I'm planning to continue my horror series or just platformer... it just hurts to check for good level in the cool pages.

P4P is 'cool'. If you search for cool levels at your friends activitys or by the name you will find cool levels.

I still remember 2013. Some people created neat levels over there. Platformers, music gallerys, topdown levels and so on. In 2014 people still created cool levels, but some players changed to LBP2/LBP3 and said, LBPV would die. Well, LBPV is not dead, but I feel like I'm the only guy who still has cool projects over there.

Though CuriousSack is working on a cool little game for LBP Vita. I read about it and I am excited.

I still play it, I think it's still worth playing too. If we really try, we can help revive the community for vita. It's a really good game that deserves a little more love. I mean, yes, the game can be laggy, and there's no multiplayer create mode, but it's still worth playing. There actually is a way to have multiplayer create mode for Vita. It's a really useful glitch. All you need to do is go into an empty level (In create mode, obviously) open your popit, go to the Gameplay Controls option, and set the level's maximum and minimum recommended players limit to 1 player only, then have one of your friends go to the friends app on the PS Vita Homescreen and have them go to your profile and tell them to join you through there. It won't work going through your friends list on LBP Vita. You must have LBP Vita open for you and your friend(s) in order for this to work.

I have to admit that I played LBP Vita 2-3 weeks ago. I love the game and how polished it is, but the community is focusing on LBP3 and Dreams. It is too late for LBP Vita. There are still many cool levels being published from time to time and I still use LBP Vita to make music sequencers.

I think it is too late because only a handful of people I know still play this game from time to time. There is little no to interest in LBP Vita on the forums or somewhere else. The golden time for LBP Vita is over.
