I see ppl asking for help with there levels.
How does this work? Do you just invite someone in your level while you create if so cant they "steal" it?

When you are creating a level you can invite friends from your friend list to join you. You can play levels together, chat while being in your pod or create levels together and a lot more.

Theoretically is possible that a friend who creates with you a level can "steal" it by using his function to save objects. BUT  you may not forget that you play with good friends or people that are active on social fan forums and playing together is based on trust. And one of the first unwritten rules of creating levels  together is not to copy objects from another person without his permission. Almost everyone knows that rule 

So to answer your question: Yes you can invite them and have much fun creating together but it is important with who you play 

Ive invited people in create mode but this was just to showoff and exchange stuff i wouldnt really thrust someone with level stuff none of my rl friends play lbp3 only people ive met through playing levels or other games so i thought there was another way they did this.

Pretty much the people you meet on forums are trustworthy... I haven't had any conflict with anyone I've met thru any forum

What if I invite someone to help me and he uses dlc I don't own?? When I switched from PS3 to PS4 I lost a dlc pack (can't remember the name it came with LBP1) and couldn't get in create mode of a level where I used stuff from that dlc pack.

If the host does not own a dlc the other players who joined can't use the objects so there is no risk for you as host
