I just wanted to spread the word about an amazing game that I stumbled across. It's called "Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator"

Basically, it's "Startrek: The game"

The idea is that you get 6 computers, and 6 players all in the same room. Each player has a unique job, doing different things to your ship or helping other people. Here are the roles:

Captain (Doesn't actually control anything. Watches over everyone, and gives objectives to the rest of his crew. Really just makes choices.)
Helm (Drives the ship. Although driving the ship is not super hard, if you make a mistake, it has an immediate impact that changes the entire game.)
Weapons (You shoot stuff. This part is all about multi tasking. You have to keep track of multiple torpedo tubes, know what kind of stuff needs to be shot, and shoot lazers manually at the same time.)
Engineer (You have to choose what parts of the ship gets repaired when damaged. You also control power supply to all the systems, overpowering them to increase efficiency while preventing overheating using coolant.)
Coms (You communicate. Weather it be with friendly ships, enemies, or refueling stations, you have to manage talking to many things and choose how to respond. You can taunt at enemies to make them follow you, or even command refueling stations to make certain types of ammunition.)
Science (You scan ships for info. Info can include shield weakness frequencies, shield strength, background info on the ship and it's crew, etc. Not an intense job, but still useful)

It's such a fun game to play, no matter if you learn quickly, or just want to blow stuff up with your friends. I tested this game out with around 9 of my friends, and we just had a blast playing all night long.

It takes quite a lot to set up though - 6 computers, and a TV... Let me tell you, there were cables EVERYWHERE. But it was totally worth it.

Here is a pic of my setup!

Please, but this game now. It NEEDS more attention. I can't stress just the amount of plain fun I had with this game.

It doesn't have to take up that much room. I have seen compacted setups, with multiple rows of tables. I don't know. Either way, it was just amazing.
