Most of you have maybe heard of the coming level pack about the DC Comics. We will update this thread with news about the pack... This thread contains unofficial news.
We will create an Blog post with the official news after the DLC is published.

1. Costumes:

They are going to sell several brand new costumes such as Batman, Superman, Cyborg etc.

UPDATE 2.0: Two bonus costumes in the Premium level pack ? Cyborg and Cheetah
Every superhero (or supervillain) needs a disguise and hidden within this pack will be two costumes that will allow your Sackboy or Sackgirl to dress up as either Cyborg or Cheetah! Oh and if you own LittleBigPlanet PS Vita or LittleBigPlanet Karting, you will be able to download these costumes for those titles too!


This pack also includes a bunch of new Materials, Objects, Decorations, Music and a new Background to create with!

3. New Tools:

We saw it in the short teaser that LittleBigPlanet uploaded that Sackboy gets a new power-up: The hero cape.

- You can fly with it and make special wall jumps.

But here are the great news in my opinion: (unofficial news at the moment)
You can see the new pins on lbp.me since some days and some pins have a really nice description:

- Memorizer: Some pins say that you have to play 5 levels with a memoriser to get the pin. A memoriser is a tool that allows you to save some tag signals even if the player leaves the level. Great tool for levels with many parts that when you leave the level you don't have to start from the beginning (CONFIRMED)

- New Options for the OR-gate, AND-gate: A pin says that you have to use one of the new options in the or-gate or and-gate

- Magic mouth: One pins says that you have to use one of the magic-mouth styles to get it ( I personally expect one of these comic speechbubles)

- Tool to record something: One pin says that you should pick up a cape and film your sackboy for 5 seconds (I hope there will be a film tool as I always wanted to have one!)

- Walljump: Pack includes a walljump material and a walljump tweaker (confirmed)

(Most of these tools are not confirmed!)

I can not wait finally downloading this new pack. It is so incredibly cool because it is DC.

WOW.... Can't wait to buy it....

Also we will have the ability to fly and make wall-jumps?? AWESOME!!!

I'm really excited about the memoriser. But I don't know about the walljump and flying abilities, I had fun making them with logic, and now that all people who buy the pack will be able to implement them without any thinking, it might take away some of the creativity. While people who don't make logic will make some a little more creative, but still all the same platformers, logic developers will lose some encouragement to making things their own way, because there will be better, built in simple tools that don't require any creativity to make.

Watched radioplaystation.com play thru this on twitch the other night, i was in awe. this pack might draw me back to creating in lbp2, but we will see. I cant get over the convenience of the vita version also its coming to vita next year
