So as you may recall I was working on a platformer by the name of Martin the Spartan. I haven't completely abandoned that, but was stricken with the idea of a card battle game based on that level. I'm about 50% complete. Once done, I'd like to set up a closed testing as this is the most logic heavy level I've ever done and I am sure there to be bugs that will need to be worked out. Until then here are two pics. They have been out there in the twitterverse, but wanted to share them here.

My hope is to utilize the memerisor as a means to have some form of award system to where once you complete a certain task other "Rare Cards" would be awarded to you to help you proceed through a campaign type play and allow for you to come back another time to continue.

Here is the battle field. Anyone familiar with Hearthstone will recognize the resemblance to my design. This battle field has since had some changes to it since this picture but the setup is the same.

And here are some card examples...

If you are familiar with card battle games, there will be a Mana spending system. Each card will have a number of Mana, attacks per turn as well as a certain amount of health. Currently there is about 36 cards that have been created, some having special abilities and charge type attacks upon being played.
