I've been unable to connect to the servers in LBPK, and friends who also have the game show up as "offline". The LBPK.me website, which I believe is tied into the game servers, is not loading. Here is a test of the website, which shows that it is down: http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/karting.lbp.me.html There hasn't been an official announcement that I've missed, has there? It was working just a few days ago.

For me the lbp.me site isn't down, I can log in and see everything. Maybe this game has sometimes a few bugs or problems. They won't close the servers forever without saying it to the community.

The LBP.me website runs on the same servers as LBP, LBP2, and LBP3. The LBPK servers are separate, connected with LBPK.me, which is down. All of the main LBP games are on the same server presumably so that you can access LBP levels on LBP2 and LBP and LBP2 levels on LBP3. I've noticed that when the website is down, the respective games' online features aren't available.

I've just tried to login to lbpk.me and I had no problem, at least lbpk.me seems not to be down anymore. But I don't know whether online gaming is possible!

Sadly the game server's for Karting have always been terribly messy, I could only go online about 60% of the time even when the game was new... Never got the attention it needed by the devs, I guess.

I just played LBPK and I was able to be online and play levels online.

This game hasn't worked for my online since 2 months after release.

No idea what happened.. it's just broken. It never connects.
