I think a shop should be added for pending your points in things such as:
Nickname Colors
Nickname Blurs
Nickname Shadows (same as blur execpt that the nickname will be black to get a shadow effect)
And much more!
If not, then the points would be useless

I've got an idea too.
Remember when we had multiple titles? People got a special title when they made something special. So why don't we make something like that, but differently, we can make some kind of achievements, like LBP pins. So you would have a section for that, and people who... for example: made an advertisement level for LBF would get a pin called, like that old title: "LBF Creator". So we could have those pins for different events.(contest winners, etcetera)
