I am curious if the "Smileys" on LittleBigForum will soon include OddSock, Toggle, and Swoop. Like '(ToggleHappy)' '(OddSockScared)' http://www.littlebigforum.eu/forum/download/images/resize_30x30_f37t4440p33960n2_oMmTCEpl.jpghttp://www.littlebigforum.eu/forum/download/images/resize_34x34_f37t4440p33960n3_dgqBXYUC.jpg http://www.littlebigforum.eu/forum/download/images/resize_34x34_f37t4440p33960n4_sdBIjezy.jpg Will these happen? They are now an important part of LBP, and it is only fitting to fit them in there, and I will enjoy it very much!

Well, they are on Sackinima Forums already, and a fair share of them as well. Maybe go there. http://sackinima.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/6.png

Now to move on to a serious non-advertising question, did you make those yourself? I do think they need some work or need to be redone. The Swoop head seems to be a big image with Swoop in the middle rather than being one smaller emoticon, and the head is way too big anyways. On average it should be the size of the Sackboy head (which if i'm right is an LBF emoticon), but it's about 1,5 times it's size, and yes, that is critical. Same can be said about the other two emoticons. The heads should be touching the edges of the image itself, not just fill up the middle of a larger image, this having to do with text formatting and such and you wouldn't want an emoticon to accidentally create a large space around it due to whoever made it not having cropped it into a more useable size like 16x16 or 32x32. And uh, the cutout of Toggle's head is done just plain dodgy. I definitely don't like how straight you've erased the sides. They should be more curved.

Then there's also the lighting on the images you've used, which also looks odd. You see, the Sackboy emote is normally lit, and you can clearly make out it's shape due to how the lighting falls on the face, brightening up the middle and darkening the edges to give a spherical effect. Swoop on the other hand seems to have no sort of lighting, the brown doesn't fade into some darker colours around the edges and the head really looks flat. I assume the Oddsock image was taken from some game art? I mean, the other two (Swoop and Toggle) rather look like you've made the pictures yourself. It's not bad, although slightly flawed. Here, the lighting contrasts the details of the head very nicely, but it has a warmer glow to it which doesn't make the emoticon appear very neutral. Then there's Toggle... well, he'se just not lit at all, he is way too dark. And again, there is nearly no contrast either combined with the poor lighting, which just makes the emoticon look like a monotonely coloured brownish grey blob rather than a head.

Emoticon design takes a lot.

I understand, and yes, I did cut them out with a very low quality photo edit program, but the Toggle one was from the "Meet Toggle" trailer, when he breaks the screen. And the Swoop and OddSock are both from their first story appearance. I just made them to give a general idea. And the pictures down line up very well... It was just for experimentation. I wanted pictures that gave a nice expression and a front view. Surprisingly, that is very hard to find for the new characters! And yes, the Sackboy is one from the forum already.

A bit overwhelming? Yeah...maybe so.

But I say yes to Toggle, Swoop, and Oddsock!
