I'm just looking for general tips on getting a crown outside of lbp, I'm particularly looking for answers from people who have gotten crowns from this. And I also want to know if making a life size crown IRL and making a detailed rainbow sackboy (2D) out of fruity pebbles would work too, as I'm currently trying to do both of these. (If the chances are low, then whatever. I'm still doing it, as I don't want to just simply give up.) and lastly, if I'm done with these projects, I have no idea who to send them to. I would like some suggestions on who to send the finished projects to. Thanks.

Well, the only way I know of to get a crown outside of LBP is fan art. Making something original is definitely your best bet, because the LBP team gets a lot of fan art sent to them you need to stand out! I would say right now would be a very good time to send them fan art because of the upcoming release of LBP3 the team are paying a lot more attention to their social media and such.

You could also email a picture to Steven Isbell (the community manager) steven@littlebigplanet.com. I have to say though it is extremely hard to get a crown for fan art, I only know (personally) 2 people who have gotten their crown this way (although I'm sure there are many more).

The best way of getting a crown? Well, I'd say it is NOT trying to get one. You see, it is not until you love this game, and you become an important part of its community (whether that is creating fan art, levels, being an admin/mod/LBP-journalist, blogger, etc.) that you get a crown. But people who do get one usually are not necessarily seeking one. The point of this game is not to get this rare item, but if you get to enjoy it as much as some of us do, you will surely increase your chances of winning one. If you are really interested try doing things as trying to join game betas, polish your creation skills and participate in contests hosted by LBF or other LBP fansites, make fan art as dolphins said, etc.

Try to enter a contest, theres not a big change of winning one but just try it, its fun. Some people git there crown for doing awesome things for the community, for their work on fan-sites, a lbp youtube channel or fanart, but I agree its not important to get a crown in this game.

I do love this game.. I've been around since lbp1...
But I get what you mean, but it's worth a try
