Would anyone be kind enough to explain how to perform this glitch in LBP 1 and 2?

I purchased both games when they first came out. Shortly thereafter my PS3 fried. Recently, I bought a new PS3 and decided to pick them up again after my long hiatus. After scoping out some glitches to have fun with, I quickly discovered the infamous God Glitch. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find anywhere that actually explains how to perform the glitch. Mostly on Youtube, it's just people showing what the glitch can do. No one really ever goes through the steps.

Often, I'll see people saying that everything is explained if you just play user-levels like 'The Infamous God Glitch' or 'God of all glitches'. The problem for me is, I don't have High-Speed Internet. I can't play LBP online.

The benefit, however, is that my Little Big Planet games are completely unpatched. Whatever Media Molecule has done to stamp out the God Glitch has no effect on my system.

The closest I've ever come to seeing the God Glitch explained online is for the LBP2 Beta.

Someone at Wiki Answers said, 'attach a winch to your sackboy then when you enter the controllinater heart the cursor.'

So, would anyone kindly explain to me how to do this? Keep in mind that even patched glitches will work for me. From what I've seen on the internet, it's supposed to work on both the first LBP and the second one. I frequently play Little Big Planet with my family and I would love to show them this.

No one will give you the instructions on how to do it because people can look at this post and use the glitch to go and copy everyone's community levels. The only way to do it is only in the Beta. You can do the god glitch by hearting the tool/item you want to use in play mode. This doesn't work in the full game.

Truth is that Media Molecule has patched it a long time ago, and they did it again in Version 1.01 of the BETA. Trust me, I know. The patch is all fixed up.

If your games are unpatched, wouldn't it ask you to update them?
And if you didn't, you probably won't have access to the community at that rate.

But if u want to perform the glitch it's just several buttons on your controller I think it's somewhat from D-Pad to X and O buttons.

But that's what I remembered on lbp3 with the godgltich for the story mode levels and creating in the pod.
Still legit on lbp1.

I've never tried it, but if you're asking, I have all of the patches and updates, so I'm good. On both versions. (LBP2 and LBP3).
