Sack Hack - A level based on reading LBP 2 logic

I made a level a while back called Electric Logic Puzzles, which was all about reading LBP electronics on the walls, figuring out what they did, and pulling levers/pushing buttons to solve the puzzle. It got really positive feedback, so a friend and I co-created a longer, better, more challenging version called Sack Hack.

The main premise is that you're a microchip hacker, and you need to break into this evil guy's lair and steal a doomsday device from him before he can use it to destroy the world. You go around solving logic puzzles, hacking into security systems, opening doors and such to get through his fortress. There are also secret expert puzzles for the bravest to find

If you're into LBP 2 logic, I highly recommend it Even if you're not, give it a try, it may change your mind.

One of the tutorials that teaches you about alarms (which you don't want to trigger, obviously)

We put a lot of effort into this, and I'm really excited to share it with people. Enjoy!

The level is great, it's an awesome idea, the puzzles require some thinking. I would qualify it for the next LBF Picks at least.

But it doesn't really say much about real LBP logic, it's just puzzles, it doesn't require being a logic expert to get the maximum score. I think someone who has never played LBP, but can focus and think logically would easily pass all the bonus expert puzzles. It could be a lot better, if there actually was a more complex working logic system, and you're trying to bypass the different security subsystems, that only let through the correct pass code(or something like that), then it would really require LBP logic experience and a lot of thinking, because then you wouldn't be just trying to figure out what the system does when you press a button, but how the system was made and why it works this way. Then you could really say that those who finish the level with the best scores are logic experts, because they understand how to use logic, not just how to read it.

If you're ever going to make another version based on what I said, then I'd be happy to speed up the creating process with some help.
But for now, I got another idea on what to create.

It would be pretty cool if the microchips actually reflected the workings of the doors you needed to open, but I think at that point it becomes a difference between something realistic and a good puzzle. I wasn't really focusing on making this a logic tutorial, I just wanted to somehow take LBP 2's create tools and turn them into a game, so realism wasn't on my mind mostly just how to make puzzles that were fun/challenging to solve.

The logic could be realistic, like you said, but often times that ends up looking like cluttered wires and values you can't read without further investigation in create mode (like sensor tags or embedded microchips). I'm sure it's possible to make it work, but a lot of the "realistic" electronics I've created end up either looking like this, or being simplified to avoid that kind of clutter, which would lead to not much of a challenge.

So, I do think the realism idea is a good one, but it wasn't really what I was going for. Thanks for the feedback though!
