Hey guys!

I created another level! This one is for Dragonvarsity's third competition where we had to make a 3-player level. I was stumped at first because I suck at making coop platformers so I decided to make another minigame. In this level you move 3 small squares around an isometric cube and collect points. Here's the twist, the three squares are mirrored onto the different faces of the cube.

All the bubbles spawn randomly in the cube. The white bubbles are worth 10 points and the bigger bubbles are worth 50 points but trigger a hazard or event depending on the color.
Orange: Heatwave
Yellow: Electric current
Red: Missile
Blue: Speed boost

While creating this I realized that it looked a little bland with only a shade of grey for the background. That's when I decided to turn it into A DISCO PARTY! YEAH! It took a while to get the sequencers matching up to the beat of 'Disco Shmisco' but it was all worth it!

When it comes to creating the visuals for this level I was inspired by the artstyle of the upcoming PS4 game N++. I wanted to go for clean angles with sharp points and a dark background to highlight the brighter colors. I'm not the kind of person who will spend a lot of time on visuals and animation, but I put a lot of thought into this one.
