Camera affecting material opacity

Is there any way to turn off the see-through effect that foreground materials experience when the player moves several layers back? I'm trying to make a level with fixed camera angles and 3D movement, and this is making it a nightmare. I don't want half of a hallway to become invisible when the player moves to the back. I've tried attaching opacity tweakers set to 100% to everything, but it doesn't do anything. I can't find any way to turn this effect off in the camera settings either. Anybody know a workaround? Thanks.

Are you sure it still does this in the actual play mode? I think I know what your talking about anyways.:3 I have this part in a game during create mode a closer object is see through, even with preview on. I go to play mode and it's fine.

If you put a opacity tweaker at 100%, that means it's fully visible. You have to put it at 0 percent to make it invisible.

I believe the cameras are programmed that way unless you turn off the option "use Z axis" which tracks players moving towards and away from the viewer (layers). Try tweaking this setting. I believe it's near the bottom of the camera's tweak menu.
