team checkpoints and how to use them

anybody any ideas on checkpoints and their coresponding team, there is no tutorials on this and the game dosent explain how to use them and what they can be used for

It's simple:

Red = Player 1
Blue = Player 2
Orange = Player 3
Purple = Player 4

If I were to set it Red to No on a checkpoint, that means Player 1 will not spawn out of that checkpoint. Useful for Versus type levels if you want Players on separate sides!

It's how "Race to the Stars" has each player spawn as a different character. Just wish there was a way to detect the "team" for each specific player during play (like setting a player sensor to only detect Red or a follower to only follow Purple).
