I've been working on a very destructive map.

The map changes and breaks apart as you play at the pace that you play.

There is a little bit of story in it, but it's only implied.

Astronauts have been mining on a foreign planet for irridium. Not iridium, irridium. Anyways, you are one of the last to evacuate the planet as a large comet is on a collision course with the mining planet.

-I plan to use the shardinator like a madman. There WILL be tons of destruction!

-I rarely use lava, but this will contain tons of that.

-There will be cinematic scenes that still allow you to play as the camera pans out to show destruction.

-Later in the level, I plan to have the two celestial bodies rip each other apart by their gravitational pull. In other words, rocks will fall upwards later.


-Lastly as you are blasting off away from the planet, I will have the scene of the collision just before the level progress board shows up.

Wow! It sounds like I will have an adrenaline rush when playing this, or maybe not. It's a really creative idea! Sometimes, the level that get you off your chair and jumping up and down close to the screen are the most fun!

It looks really good just from these screen shots. And you can never go wrong with destruction
