Hello, new to the forums as I just joined today to show a project I've had in mind for a while. I wanted to make a competitive PvP shooter, inspired heavily by The Last of Us multiplayer. I plan on having different game modes such as Survival and party games. Here's a video of progress I've made so far. Feedback? Leave it here! Questions? Ask me them!

Hi Epic,

welcome to the forum, fine to meet you! I have no experience with building top-down levels, I would say that its already looking rather good how your sackboy moves in the area. (though first I had the idea of Harry Potter playing Quidditch! ) I'm curious, how the design of the areas will be! I wish you good progress and many greetings, Jürgen^^

Why don't you actually animate him rather than just throwing him in a controllinator?

@Tynz21
That's what I was gonna say!
I could help you Epic with the animating sackbot for top down btw!
Um... add 2-4P Support? (If you haven't)
f you haven't, (I haven't watched full vid so IDK) add sound which now to think of it, you'd probably already done. Maybe add grenades ye know?
Boom makes the party fun, especially if you blow the house up with guests ins-.... shh.. banana.
You heard nothin'....

Sorry for double post!
Please specify what platform your LBP3 game is launching on. (PS3/PS4?)
This way, we can help you with less complications! (I'm on PS3 so yeah..)

@CuriousSack The level design will be unique focusing on how the player moves through the map, will shoot outs will be and more!

@Tynz21 Ayy, you helped me once actually, haha. Of course this isn't the final product, so I will put animate him sooner or later.

@Sana_88 I'm sorry, but the platform will be on PS4 but I think I can manage! Grenades are definitely going in, it can actually be fun with the level design I'm going for. The thing I'm going for is 2v2 or free-for-all and that's it for the PvP options.

It's too bad that LBP3 still doesn't have an official, functional 3D camera. Imagine how this would look with one.

FEATURES/OTHER THINGS:

BULLET TIME: I had this idea when I suddenly had the urge to watch a playthrough of Max Payne 3. That's when I also loved
the level design and what-not. I was already working on a Max Payne 3 project back in 2012, that was been on
hiatus for 3 long years. So I decided, why not merge the top down shooter with the Max Payne project? Bullet
time AND Bullet Dodge will be fully functional and will work like the MP, once in line of sight of a enemy
one of the players can activate Bullet Time/Dodge and slow-mo will happen.

LEVEL DESIGN: Since the merging of the Max Payne project, I had an inspiration of maps I could have 2 are a disco club, and
Rooftops, one of my favorite levels in Max Payne 3. There won't EXACT maps, but inspired maps as well. Another
thing I liked about Max Payne was the destructable cover. The enemies would shoot at your cover and the cover
would break, making the player constantly moving, I'll be transfering that into the shooter, as well.
