So I tried the first level but I couldn't figure how to go upward. I tried going to the large rocket thingy but the checkpoint on it wouldn't activate. Is there anything I can do about this?

I don't know if I understand the problem here, but
Have you tried following Irene into the diner?
The first level is a basic left to right Platformer with a story really...

Nvm, I played through the level a second time and found out where Irene was and followed him. The first time I played the level was glitched and Irene wasn't there at all . So far it's a great level!
