I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem, but any time I go into create mode, all of the options in the popit menu are blacked out, unusable, and I can't rewind/redo or un-pause! Rewinding and pausing works when I bring in a second player, but ONLY in the Popit Academy challenges where it lets me do that. How in the world can I fix this?

it's a setting they added for some odd reason. go into setting and try to find the option to enable advanced create mode.

there are already a couple threads in this forum that were created about this issue. you may want to look around the site a bit before posting a new thread.

Why would they add a mode that doesn't let you do anything else other than fly/walk around and not do anything level-creating related? Advanced Create mode always was on, and I'm still having this problem.

If any of those other threads actually had the answer to this, I wouldn't have posted a new one.

hmm. if advanced create mode is enabled then I've never heard of this issue. it may be something that you should report to the developers... unless someone else here knows how to solve this?

I have too have the misfortune of running into this problem. I am on the PS3 version of LBP3. When going into Create Mode, I am unable to utilize any of the ghosted out options in my Popit. I also have the problem of being unable to unpause or rewind. I worked around that issue in Popit Academy by bringing in a guest through my 2nd controller, but it doesn't work in Create Mode. However, even the 2nd player cannot pause/rewind or use their Popit features.

@ IneXtrikbul, do you happen to have LBP1 and/or LBP2? If so, are they digital versions or disc?

I own both digital versions of LBP1 and 2. I've tried deleting any Moon levels in progress in 1, then updating profile through LBP2. Also tried deleting Pods, saved photos, objects, etc. Then I tried updating the profile through LBP3 with no luck.

Curiously enough, I also cannot use any of the functions in Create Mode on LBP2 but I can do everything in LBP1. I also made sure to tick, untick, and tick again the Advanced mode in settings. Even rebooted system after each change. Rebuilt, restored file system and made sure any corrupted file structures were fixed. Nothing works.

I have grim news. I backed up all my LBP1, LBP2 and LBP3 saves, uninstalled game (disc version) and reinstalled, started up the game fresh and checked out the Create Mode. Create Mode is now functional but when importing my LBP3 profile, it turns out it was corrupted.

I copied my adventure save and my popit academy saves and all is well, but the main profile save is corrupted. I imported my LBP2 profile and now Create Mode is back to its unusable state. The Adventure save (meaning all collected prize bubbles) is intact but now I have to do all the levels over again. So basically I think it has something to do with importing LBP2 data.

Forget what I said, everything got really messed up including my story/prize bubble progress. Thankfully found back up save. Everything is super borked and create mode still. I give up and hope patch fixes a lot of stuff.

Actually, my LBP2 file ended up being corrupted, and uninstalling/reinstalling after deleting it worked out fine. You still totally helped!

Hi Dogeofwonders here, i have a problem that i can not pause or unpause in popit acedemy since i first played it and i got past using recent items. So i thought you had to complete all the tutorials to create but i cant unpause and pause so im stuck on the sackbot level and cant make it act. I dont know what to do, because the icons in popit in create are ghosted and i cant use them, neither can I fly or Unpause or pause. Please Help

Where do you find the "enable advanced create mode" or whatever. I can't seem to find it...

Somewhere in the options menu.

Try this guys, just got mine working:

1. Go to your Pod.

2. Backup your Profile Data

3. Import the data you just backed up.

I cant seem to access my moon at all, and again same problem with the pause / rewind
