LBP3 will be a broken game due to the increased amount of playable layers. When playing layer-glitched levels, people will move into the background and foreground layers (which were intended only for decoration). This is a big problem, and I hope Sumo Digital does something about it.

The 16 layers arent to ise as background and decoration, whatever and you have to use bouncepads to move in to the background.

You do know that if you turn sticker panel, or hologram lethal with plasma, then you can make layer switching barriers

Every beta so far has started four months before the release of the game, so the beta should start this month. Also, I know that it's possible to fix the levels, but what about levels published by retired creators? Those levels will never be playable again.

Seleven, creators can block any layer from being used, as was stated. Simply turn Sticker Panel invisible and put plasma on it. This blocks the player in-game from moving to that layer. It's a common technique used in LBP2. Yes, the levels will still be playable. Just because LBP3 has the capability to utilize sixteen layers does not mean that levels published in the past will use them. They will be three layers or less, just as they were created to be. Don't worry about it, man! Sumo has it under control. ![]() |

Actually, to think of it, Selevin could be right. You can find so many devastating glitches in LBP 1 & 2. LBP 3 will also have major glitches, even after beta. No deny for that. Heck, we even have the Layer-bot in LBP 2. He can go through any layer using that glitch. There are major glitches where you could mess up the properties of a Sackboy, so Selevin could be right about an infinite-layered Sackboy. Its all being coded by Sumo Digital, not Media Molecule. So don't expect to code to be the same as we think it is. This is a perfect example of LittleBigPlanet Karting, that game is so glitched it freezes your PS3 24/7 everytime you do one little thing. LittleBigPlanet 3, again, could end up like LBPK, because the code is entirely made by a different source. Be warned if a game isnt made by Media Molecule... You don't know what could get ya... |

lol. I never even saw this thread. but honestly, I was surprised to learn that you could go through the layers in LBP2 lvls. I thought for sure they'd have that issue covered

You can go through layers but there is still the problem of collisions if the bot and some material are in back layers. Or did they find solution for it? |

You can place cardboard and place opacity tweaker set to %0 time set to 0 + phisic tweaker collision only for sackboy. It acts like stickerpanel with plazma in lbp2 (it's broken in lbp3).
If you want LBP3 people to Not be able to move through background in LBP1 AND 2 levels there is a simple solution but it will destroy your enterance desing. https://lbp.me/v/qvqjwks/topreviews?p=1&l=12 here. Hope my instructions were clear, sorry for bad grammar! <3 |

Ha, this is why I never used glitch layers.
Well.. not this problem exactly.. but I'm just glad I didn't bother. No good can come from glitching your levels to make it look better. Just accept what the game gives you and work with it. Levels can still look amazing without having to resort to the layer glitch. |
