Yes. The game is buggy. Yes, the game has stability issues. We get it. You can stop beating a dead horse. It's not perfect, we all get that too.

You see, in the modern gaming industry, there are no smooth launches anymore. It sucks, yeah, but patches come quickly, like nothing ever happened.

In fact, a lot of the bugs are just from LBP2, because this game is a heavily modified LBP2 engine. A PS3 engine, meant for PS3 hardware ported to wildly different PS4 hardware, along with the game being released on both the PS4 and PS3. With both platforms to take into account. This game is not stable due to those reasons.

LittleBigPlanet 1 had it's fair share of problems during release. The online didn't work, many people reported. LittleBigPlanet 2 was not as stable as the current LBP2 we have now. LittleBigPlanet Karting was extremely buggy. The whole series has never had a smooth launch (not sure about LBP Vita). Sure, you most likely had a lot of fun, even when it was buggy, but it still was buggy.

So yes, don't buy the game now, until it's fixed unless you want to risk it.

We get that the game is buggy, we know. So stop making long threads about it. I mean, I guess I'm doing the same thing. But it's sort of different.

TL;DR: The game is buggy, stop making long drawn out threads about it. Reporting bugs is fine, just making a long rant about it is not helping anyone.

I take it the title is to get people to read this post. Clever, but evil.

Pokémon OR AS and Smash 4 had a super clean launch. Online and Offline activities worked perfectly on the first day. So the whole "no new smooth launch" isn't exactly true ok

I've been very disappointed with LBP3 at times. And not even for my own experience. I haven't had any real game breaking bugs but I know many have. But yes, everyone has seen the complaints about a million times now. And if someone wants to complain even more, there are plenty of threads already created for that

So I agree with @211Nickey. We know it's buggy. But most of this WILL be fixed. And we don't really need anymore new threads about it.

@Kuroneko

I'm mostly talking about SONY, Microsoft and any Steam games out there. And Nintendo has had a bit of third party stinkers, *cough* Sonic Boom... *cough*

And Nintendo is one of the oldest video game companies around that are still.. around. Hell, they are a 100 year old company, but back then they were making toys!

This.

With games becoming more complicated, bigger and having better graphics, there is bound to be some bugs. Don't expect every game to run as smooth as butter.

Just because it's the 21st century and software nowadays always sucks at launch due to lazy developers and bad decisions, Sumo has no excuse for the current state of their game. There aren't just minor bugs. There's also many easy-to-encounter game breaking glitches which should've been patched before launch. I'd be fine with LBP3 if it had maybe a few menu glitches and some other random stuff, but we shouldn't have to deal with our profiles being corrupted every time we press a button just because they wanted their game to be out in time for the holiday season.

LBP2 had a lot of major bugs too.

They were patched. Done. Gone.

You cant tell peeps what to say. we're doing is asking Sumo to get off their lazy posteriors, and get online working at the least. You're acting like we're telling sumo to go die in a ditch. People will say whatever they want; nothing we can do.

ps. about the dead horse thing, if a horse did something so wrong that i'd up and murder it, like eat all my food ration, you can bet your butt i'd beat it beyond death

One time, I played this cool game, and it didn't even have loading screens.
Too bad PlayStation doesn't have the Nintendo technology.

@HoustonAP This isn't Sumo's forum. They probably don't even look at this stuff. What we're saying is, there really isn't any need for new threads about the same thing over, and over, and over, and over, and....

Post the complaints on an existing thread.

Do I think Sumo Digital is evil? By no means no. Do I think developers rush games out because upper management wants their money now? Yes, absolutely. I had to be a nostalgia nerd but video games in the past actually had developers take their time on video games because they had no means of releasing a patch. It's basically the vicious evolution of technology that is crippling us. As technology advances at a fast pace, we get broken games & tech, among other things.

Yes, it is lazy that they are using patches to fix their mistakes. But making long rants about it isn't helping. Bug reporting does. And it's not really useful on this forum because of it's size. It's not a very popular forum. Not with Sumo either.

The evil part is just a little exaggeration.

People have already reported the trailers, profile corruptions, and a barrage of many other glitches to them but they haven't directly responded. We just got the usual cliched statements from Steven's Twitter, etc. They haven't done anything, so far. I hope they're busy on a big update, since it's already been 2 months.

Actually, they said themselves that they are working on a new patch. No release date yet.

And, they seemed very reassuring when they addressed these issues during their live stream. The next patch is probably going to be the big fix that everyone has been waiting for.

Sumo Digital is a extremely talented team, but their games are not bug free. Far from it.
