Dynamic thermometer (PS4)

Hi.

I was wondering if it is "safe" to use the dynamic thermometer on PS4 version of LBP3?

I had some problems using it on PS3 so i dont want to lose everthing again.

The problem i had was i saved my level and quited, when i got back to my level it only loaded red blocks instead of the textures...

I know you have to backup allot and stuff but even my backed up save was corrupted like this so theres really no point in backing up your stuff if it got corrupted before you do this.

Little update :p

So far the only problems i have are:

-the quick portal thing (the one you can choose a color for it) (dont know the english name of causse my game is in dutch and google cant seem to find a translation so...)
I have 1 in the start of my level and 1 where im currently creating so i can fast travel there or test my level, the only problem is that it doesnt work even with permancy tweaker on it.

-I have a piece of stickerpanel with microship on it with a follower and also this has trouble with the thermo got a permancy tweaker on it and tried the special microchip (cant come on its name lol) but with no luck.

Anyone having same problem? maybe im doing something wrong?

Seeing as how you are putting permanency tweakers on everything, I would assume these bugs are for Sumo to fix, not you. If at all possible, either find a workaround, or don't use the dynamic thermometer?

When you put this quick portal thingy in an empty dynamic thermo level, the outrance to the right, does it work?

You can use teleport chip instead of velocity porters.
I use them for doors.
Hope they work also for bots.

I went to an empty level changed to dynamic thermo and placed 2 teleporters i pick one up and move to the right and suddenly it turns of (wich is normal ) , then went back put permancy tweakers on them and did the same only this time it didnt turn of ill try later in my level and post it here...




Is that a chip i have to put togheter myself?

Dynamic thermo is known to have issues. I've had some bad experiences with it which is why I stopped using it

You dont have to do much.
Make a piece of stickermaterial or invisible hologram material grabable and connect the grab logic piece to the teleport logic piece elsewhere. (Destinied place)
Look into all possible tweaks and set it to teleport only the activating player.

I can give you my doors if you like. (I could put it in copyable level)
But i dont know if it works with sackbots. (Dont belive it)
Sackbots should be transported with followers and anti collision tweak from physics logic stone, + at the end 0,5 seconds still following at destiny to cut off the momentum.

Could it be you forgot to mention what should be placed on the teleport chip?



Was that on PS3 or PS4?
I find that it works better on PS4 then PS3.

Sure, permanency tweaker.
Sorry i also dont use dyn thermo so i forgot. ?
You can also trigger it in a different way so you dont have nasty wires through the level.
